I’m only giving two stars for the location. First, let me start with this company needs better communication skills. I received an email about parking passes for unit 201. Well, the “poolside” pass they speak of doesn’t even exist. They only give you the “city pass” that’s OFF site. Would have been nice to know that going in, so we were prepared with unloading. Because they threaten to tow you immediately. Yes, we checked in on Sunday and I called to leave a message about it. I get no call back on Sunday, but the next day (MONDAY) someone should have returned my call and explain the situation. Second, ALL of the blind strings are broke (clearly, from other renters) so you can’t raise them or lower them. Therefore, there was FULL exposure to the living room. So, I had to prop up pillows across the main window so no one could walk by and see right in unit 201!! Not to mention the cars driving by that could see in, too! Ridiculous, right? Third, the AC unit didn’t work! I let two nights go by with the AC at 78 and we managed. Even with the living room fan that doesn’t even turn on high! It’s only for looks, I’m guessing. The last day was absolutely HOT with the temp never going under 79! I email the company to let them know and I get a response “we have sent someone out the look at this.” Yeah, whatever! We sat at the pool waiting to see that “someone,” and by 6:30 we were leaving on our last night. I email the company AGAIN to let them know and not a single person reached out (go figure). I then receive an EMAIL, no phone call, the next day that says, “Thank you for letting us know”. REALLY?!? So, we had to drive 7 hours home that night because NO ONE wanted to assist with a renter, who PAID A LOT of money for 3 nights. Lastly, did anyone offer any money back or something for having to leave my vacation early because of their situation? NO!!! Absolutely not! Did they even call to help or apologize? But, they’ll call you to reserve that unit! Like I said, the location is perfect, but the Rental Group and Unit...
Read moreBooked a suite( careful!!) a few weeks before travelling to the States. We'd been to the beach before but didn't stay, and this time wanted to soak in the beach culture for a few days. Arrived midday or so on a Tuesday and were told we couldn't have our room, sorry suite, until 4pm check in, which is fine. Though while there we didn't see a cleaner, pool attendant, rep or anyone else after 11am!!|Initially our " fully refurbished" suite seemed a bit of a let down, and there are details that are extremely poor. However, it grew on us, just like the beach, bit rough round the edges and no frills, but the pool area was spotless and extremely well appointed and the location is superb. |Two minute stroll from the flour like white sands and surrounded by a varied choice of eateries and bars. The check in, real estate, staff were extremely friendly and helpful and in particular thanks to Brandon who took the time to come up to the unit and show us where we were going wrong with the TV, though a simple user guide would have saved his time. |Think they could have indulged our request for an additional guest parking permit for half a day but did eventually get a free kerb side after the mother of all storms emptied the beach. We pushed it having friends to stay for the evening, the sofa bed is not the comfiest, but we all had a blast and the poor quality of some of the fixtures and fittings didn't hinder our stay of two nights|The AC is noisy and the door entry temperamental, but again, it's on the beach and for a few nights it's great. A few bucks spent in detail will make a huge difference. |Then we'd have no issue coming...

It could use a little TLC but it had the basic necessities for a family of 4 (2 boys aged 5 and 7). ||I misread and confused this unit with another as this did not have a washer/dryer and there is not one on the premises for use by guests. We always stay somewhere with a washer/dryer, so this was my own error. I also could have used more towels and they only change towels M/W/F (we were there a W to M and by Friday we hadn't needed a replacement of towels). Parking also was a bonus (most hotels charge a fee per day). They also had lots of beach toys and boggies boards that could be used by guests at the beach - we took advantage of that and saved us from buying at the store. ||Lots of bugs (including 3 roaches we had to kill). This didn't ruin the vacation but just wasn't pleasant killing them. Pest control couldn't be called on a weekend. The property manager was quick to advise me that. ||Overall, I would come back to this property in a heartbear, but to a different unit. I also didn't like being on the ground floor (my own paranoia since the gates were not locked). ||Pool was a bonus and my kids enjoyed it ( quick dip in the evening after a full day at the breach) which is literally steps away. ||||We ate a Frenchies (also steps away) - but I didn't think it was anything extraordinary. If anything go to the restaurant right beside the Office for these units, it was so much better. We ate there 3 times and had take out. Lots of happy...
