Cajun Cafe — Restaurant in Clearwater

Ate here about a week ago. Read some really good reviews and decided to try it. I love the set up they have. Its like Subway where you can see everything, and pick what you'd like from what's there. I got the 2 entree 2 sides meal for $14. I chose the sticky/glazed chicken (cant remember what it was called exactly), grilled bourbon chicken, yellow rice, and jambalaya pasta. Thr sticky/glazed chicken was my favorite! It was sweet and just so yummy. The grilled bourbon chicken isn't something I'd had before and isn't something I would normally try, but they were handing out samples and it was really good. Moist and flavorful. The yellow rice had bits of chopped up onion in it which was fantastic. The jambalaya pasta was pretty much just spaghetti with red sauce, green bell peppers, and onions. I make something similar to it at home. Very good and was instantly my toddlers favorite. Portions were crazy huge. Picture is from after me and my 3 year old finished eating. My son was eating his meal and found a 2" long metal piece in his food. He brought it to the attention of the woman at the counter and she offered a free meal some other time, but did not offer to give his money back. Food was OK. Been there several times without issue. They stole my information and compromised my credit card on Sunday 5/4/25. Only place I used that card in 3 days. Within 2 hours had 5 charges hit from online orders in California, then a national sporting goods company. Buyers beware.... use cash.... so disappointed in a regular lunch stop......
