Sarku Japan — Restaurant in Clearwater

Okay, paid $14 for Beef teriyaki and a drink. The food was mediocre but here’s the kicker. Around 8pm they stated cleaning the hood vents above the grill they were cooking food on which is standard practice for a restaurant near closing. However, the person making food used the utensil they were cooking food with to slide the dirty piece of metal over to assist the person collecting the grate, then the person used the utensil to keep preparing food. Food utensils should NEVER come in contact with pieces of metal that are not clean and that never touch food. (Especially if it collects dust, debris and grease.) Gross. The person that did it looked me right in the eye after he did it as it nothing was wrong. Bad food is one thing, over priced food is one thing, but unsanitary practices are a deal breaker. Guy at register was very rude. Asked for the combo (1.99 up charge) that comes with a drink and egg roll. Didn't give me my egg roll so I asked for it he then tried to ring me up for an egg roll that I already paid for and had the $1.99 up charge on my receipt he was very rude saying that the $1.99 was for the drink and the combo comes with a smaller drink. He took my drink literally threw it into the sink behind him and got a smaller cup and then filled that up and slammed it down on the counter with my egg roll.

This was very rude and wasteful. The cashiers inability to correctly take an order should not be taken out on the customer. All he had to do is say sorry that he incorrectly rang me up for a $1.99 drink instead of the $1.99 up charge on the combo and simply gave me my egg roll that I asked for...

The food was good I ordered chicken teriyaki and a few other items. However, they were RUDE and RUSHING customers. NOT TO MENTION THEY ARE VERY SCARCE WITH THE CHICKEN. I got into it with the woman at the register because I spent over 40$ and she wasn't trying to provide me with my eel sauce. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and CLEARLY STATED ON THEIR MENU IT SAYS "Comes topped with eel sauce and sesame seeds" so when I noticed it was plain I went back and requested it. She tried to argue with me that eel sauce was extra. I told her to look at her own menu. EVENTUALLY I GOT MY SAUCE AFTER WAITING INFRONT OF HER FACE...
