Server was attentive and our waiter tried his best to accommodate any questions my family of 4 had however could not answer a simple ? as to a different sauce/dip to try with my grouper egg rolls. Out of our 4 meals that we ordered, my grouper egg rolls(an appetizer) were the appealing. However, one family member upgraded for $3 to grouper based fish tacos & they were made fried (other options were not mentioned such as grilled or blackened, which I find highly sus when taking a teenager she’s getting fried grouper tacos. Grouper is a wonderful fish that is great on its own, doesn’t need to be fried, would be difficult to decern upon cooking due to heavy grease and frying, and this restaurant is supposedly known for its grouper. My daughter’s “grouper” fish tacos were not good. My teenage son ordered the grouper basket. Again his grouper could have been any white fish resembling grouper. My family lived on the east coast of FL and are recreational FL fisherman who are familiar with grouper and what it’s flavor should be but again, who knows what we received hidden behind all the fried grease. Lastly, my husband ordered the seafood palooza or something or that name. He has a few pieces of scallops, fish, and shrimp, but the majority of the platter that was pricey, was overwhelmed by the fries and veggies. I’ll also add that both the “grouper” basket and the “fried” 🙄 grouper tacos both vastly had way too many fries to make it appear that you’re receiving more food than you actually are. All in all, these food issues were not the servers probs b/c he’s just delivering what the kitchen staff are cooking up which I believe is shady, sus quality. Our service was busting his behind with all his table so none of this is an error on his part except he should have offered grilled or blackened grouper tacos key here!! We will not return to this restaurant or any if their other 3 sites. Not worth $100+...
Read moreWe visited for the first (& last) time this weekend not knowing it was the beginning of spring break. I ordered the lobster tacos which were clearly made of something other than lobster and innocently told our waitress that they made a mistake and brought me crab tacos instead. She looked at me like I was crazy, said “that’s not on the menu”, & ran off with the plate, allegedly confirming with her manager/kitchen that they had given me “lobster” tacos. I asked to speak to the manager who came by and insisted it was lobster. He stated “maybe it’s not the lobster you’re used to” but “I’m not going to argue with you” and acted like he was doing me a favor for not charging me for a meal I took two bites out of before sending back for the reason above.
The whole response from the waitress (who never introduced herself) and Johnny the manager was so off-putting. They didn’t once apologize or even pretend to listen to what I was saying. I’m no seafood connoisseur but I do make lobster at home several times a year and eat it out on special occasions. Anyone with eyes/taste buds could tell that was something else. Even calling it crab was giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I wish I took a picture of the tacos but I initially didn’t think anything of it and swore they just messed up my order. I hope they just ran out of lobster during spring break and tried to replace it with something similar and that my experience was an isolated one. I truly hope they are not routinely substituting menu items and getting away with it. Regardless I will not be returning to find out.
Let this serve as a caution to any hoping to try some quick easy beachside “lobster” tacos......

We started our meal with the crab-topped French fries, and they were out of this world! Crispy fries generously loaded with fresh crab—it was the perfect appetizer to set the tone for the meal. For the main course, we went with the seafood pasta, and it did not disappoint. The pasta was packed with an incredible variety of seafood, including scallops, shrimp, and more. Every bite was bursting with fresh flavors and the perfect blend of seasoning.
Additionally, we tried the grilled and blackened grouper with Caribbean jerk sauce, and it was nothing short of amazing. The fish was grilled to perfection with just the right amount of spice from the jerk sauce. The freshness of the seafood really shone through in every dish.
