My first hint should've been that it was the only place on E.4th that wasn't busy on the whole strip. Let's start with the $8.50 Moscow Mules which were served in pint glasses rather than the traditional copper cup. No lime, over compensated with ginger beer and basically tasted more like a watered down margarita. The recommended appetizer which we were was told was "fantastic" was basically large pieces of pizza dough lightly baked with a little bit of cheese in them. I ordered the chicken tacos, with a side of kettle chips with house seasoning. The tacos were a step down from what my 7 year old son whips up on family dinner night. A pinch of romaine lettuce, mozzarella cheese (yes I said mozzarella) chicken all wrapped up by a tortilla that was pulled from the package to the plate with no attempt to warm up or give some color from the grille top. Did I mention the delicious salsa that was poured from its Old El Paso jar. Also my side of kettle chips with house seasoning was actually a handful of plain kettle chips. When questioning the "Kitchen Manager" he stated they were in transition of a new menu and I was correct. My wife ordered the Savory Crepes, more like Save your money with more of the rubbery pancake feel to them they were far from a Crepe let alone anything Savory. Again said "Kitchen Manager" defended himself and said they were pan crepes not like whats made on the marble top. That was clear because they were soaked with oil giving them a sponge like feel and were thicker they the uncooked tortilla shell for my horrific tacos. Only person I feel bad for was the bartender who was just doing his job of serving the lack-luster meal and taking the heat of my complaint. Both kitchen manager and I'm guessing bar manager were very rude, confrontational and unapologetic. The icing on the cake to this terrible experience was we were the only table of diners with and additional 6-7 patrons at the bar and this all took over 45 minutes for service. It's a WONDER to me how this place is still...
Read moreWe went on a little weekend get away to Cleveland. Friday night this bar looked very casual and not too packed so we stopped in for a couple drinks. The bartenders were all very polite and they were quick to get us drinks every time our glasses were empty. Saturday night we decided to go back because we had a good experience and more into the laid back crowd and Iâm SO GLAD we did! All the bartenders remembered us as soon as we walked in and we werenât there long on Friday or do anything to make ourselves memorable lol. We had an amazing time this night got to know the bartenders more an may I just say the blonde bartender was so nice to us and we have not one complaint about her and I forget the bartenders name but he was such a great guy and very quick to ask if we needed refills or anything else. Very lgbtq đłïžâđ friendly! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and if we are ever in Cleveland again this will be one of our first stops â€ïž Thanks guys for...
Read moreStopped in at 8:30 on a Friday night, the bar was not crowded, walked up to the corner of the bar to grab a drink. The older, short, blonde hair bartender was slow to acknowledge us, once she finally did - she immediately scolded us about not being able to sit where we were standing. However, we were standing with acceptable social distance with the intent to move elsewhere with our drinks. She kept insisting that we couldnât sit there due to the of the 6ft rule and she couldnât comprehend we had no intentions of staying in that spot. We were trying to explain to her we were not sitting there and were going to move once we had our drinks...she was clearly intoxicated and didnât comprehend our intentions. She again repeated herself, dismissed us, walked away and said F-U. Clearly got the attention of other patrons who then asked us why she did that. It was a disappointing experience as we looking forward to experiencing E4th during...
