BC's Pizza & Beer — Restaurant in Clovis

Spent $40 I was so disappointed. I bought a small pizza, the Anthony's Hot Wings, and the Ultimate Calzone. The hot wing and pizza were good...just stick with that. My Ultimate Calzone was not so Ultimate. As I looked at it and ate it I truly thought I would have been better off buying Pizza Pockets from the frozen food section. The Ultimate Calzone had the cheapest meatballs you could find, HARDLY any cheese, the meats just looked like the cheapest meats you could buy. The cheese was as if they were running low and so were sparingly using it. If you want a great Calzone or are searching for the Ultimate, do not get it from here. I'm not saying this to be mean I just feel a business should know the honest truth so that they can better themselves if they are going to have that item on their menu. I've always loved this place, the atmosphere is great, I love the female staff they are always so nice, the male staffers aren't as outgoing and friendly. With their work station being so open you still see them being just as sweet as when they sat a customer down. I love that they are genuine. You don't see any ugliness or gossipy situations. BC's is the best pizza restaurant in the Fresno area. The owner, Kirk, runs an amazing hometown pizza joint! The pizza is delicious. If you're a fan of fluffy crunchy crust, fresh ingredients, and a variety of flavorful sauces, BC's is where you should go. They have incredible appetizers, including super meaty wings, cheese rolls (my sister-in-law's favorite), a fresh salad bar, the best bread sticks, and cheesy garlic bread! The restaurant is family-friendly with a few vintage video arcade games. The bar has the best beer selection around with over 25 beers on tap. Kirk does a great job organizing beer festivals and offering a rotation of local favorites, like Firestone. It's fun to try different brews from all over the world. You might even end up with your name on the wall. If you "go around the world" by drinking beers they offer from all over the world, you get an engraved plaque on the wall in your honor! Brought party of 10 here after Hat Day. Very over-priced to say the least. Every slice for all 3 pizza's fell apart..the crust tore off the pizza's when you pulled them apart to get a slice. The chicken wings were soggy & the bones kept snapping. The chicken tenders were supposed to be "new & improved" but were tough and flavorless. For hungry kids to complain about pizza & chicken tenders you know it must be bad! Waitress April was friendly but when we asked her if they can cut the pizza's again because they were falling apart when we tried pulling each slice apart she said "once they're cut you can't cut them more".. huh??? Lol. Besides the food being mediocre, the beer was cold. Salad bar wasn't bad either. Hopefully management sees this & improves their pizza, chicken tenders & wings. Neither of our families want to come back, round-table pizza is gold in comparison. Oh & some of the other women working here have major attitudes, wonder if that's why they're always...
