Arrived in Cocoa Beach one week ago after a long hectic exhausting move. I'm a single mom and two of my daughters I had taken to enjoy some freedom and recuperation at the beach this particular evening. My littlest one was hungry so I decided to grab dinner to take home, ordered through the drive-thru which was a long wait yet was the only car in line. When I got to the window to pay I had properly counted the total in cash twice before handing it over. The employee taking my money asked me for another dollar, and then another dollar. I realized something was wrong. I noticed the look on her face and other employee's faces and their gestures which assured me something was wrong. Was handed my food, she barely acknowledged me and was rude. We pulled into the parking spot and had a bad feeling about it so decided to trust my gut instinct and return the food. I went to the first door and it's locked though they had just let people out a couple seconds before but refused to let me in. I knock on it to gain their attention, they signal me to go to the side door. They still refuse to acknowledge me and continued to laugh while looking at me. Although very disturbed and upset with the whole ordeal we decided to leave, as my daughter is pulling out of the parking lot employees are coming out cursing at us, yelling profanity and displaying mean gestures, which my little five year old unfortunately had to be witness to. We circled back in as a result because there was no way I was going to be stuck paying for food I refuse to eat or would even give to my dog. One employee was still leaning out the door yelling at me. Another employee came over tried to handle it after realizing we had pulled out our phone to record the scene. She refunded me what was on receipt and took back the food though I still never received the other dollars they deliberately stole. This whole ordeal has left me sick to my gut, haven't eaten a thing since, and my stress level is out the roof. I cannot believe any restaurant or food chain can employ such an ignorant staff, I for sure will never eat at any taco bell again and my faith and trust in people has been diminished as a result. I guess for now I will be cooking from home or paying the extra dollars to go to a finer establishment, one that's run by people with some kind...
Read moreThe worst drive though experience I have ever had. 45MIN WAIT FOR FOOD. After waiting at the menu for 15 min, unable to leave due to the cars in front and behind me, I was finally able too speak to someone. The lady on the speaker kept saying thank you please pull forward after every item that I ordered. After finally getting through my order I drove up to the window. I assume that the lady was intoxicated as I watched her swipe my card upside down several times and scratch her head. When she finally got it. She handed my card back along with a drink, No receipt, and quickly closed the window. After a few moments I saw her place a few bags by the window. 20MIN go by and she finally comes back. She asks me to pay AGAIN! I show her my drink and explain that have paid her already. She then hands me the bag closest to the window. I opened the bag that had been sitting there for 20 min to find it was not my order. When I handed it back and told her it was wrong, she grabbed a few items out of the bag next to it and tried to give it back. She said "there you go, now you got more than you paid for." I explained again that this was not what I ordered. She took the bag and walked around the corner. She can back and handed me what I thought was my food. I pulled into the parking lot to quickly eat and try not to be late back to work from my lunch break. I found that she had handed me the same bag again. At this point I had no time to go back and have it corrected. I dug through the crumpled napkins and spilled cheese dip attempting to try and find something I would like. Everything was soggy, old and, disgusting. Long story short I wasted my entire lunch hr and paid money for inedible food. Thanks for wasting my time and money Taco Bell! Next time I'll go...
Read moreIf I could leave a negative number for this place I would!! We drove over 8 hours from Alabama and got to the restaurant at around 9:40 PM on Friday June 7th. About 10 minutes later, one of the employees came out to yell and cuss, from across the dining room, at another employee who was on break saying he's been on break for 40 minutes. Then, at 10 o'clock that same employee who did the yelling came out and locked the doors and sid we needed to leave, even though we were still eating our food. We said we are still eating and we would be leaving soon. He said okay. Then, a few minutes later a female employee came out, I think she was the manager, came out and started saying we needed to leave. She was raising her voice and being very rude to my family and other customers inside. She said that it was a rule by the fire department that nobody could be in the restaurant after the place closes, which according to others that we talked with in this area, this was not true. She said this rule was written on the door but when we left, we looked at the door and saw no such sign. This was one of the most unprofessional and rudest things I've witnessed in my life. When my wife told the lady we would not be back, the lady responded and said, "good, we dont want you back" or something to that affect. These two individuals should NOT be working there and should he fired!! The Owner of this location should be ashamed. We are vacationing in Cocoa Beach for a week and we absolutely will not be back! I suggest others not go...
