Ice Guys Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Look for the ice cream cones in the window! The shop is a little tucked away but has a great location next to Bancroft Park. Ice cream isn’t a competition but I prefer this place over the OCC creamery 😅

I really really liked the young woman working tonight (jul 5)! She was super kind and managed the line well. She described the flavors for us before trying so we had a sense of what to ask for too.

They have a lot of unique flavors- we sampled the saffron white chocolate (a little ehhhh), bavarian cream (woo!), cookies and cream 3 ways and the whiskey pistachio brittle (their best seller). We later got a shake from next door with the strawberry ice cream and that was heavenly.

I ended up with the Whiskey and Pistachio Brittle and Cookies and cream three ways. The whiskey and pistachio brittle was fantastic. I don’t even like whiskey or drink but it was delicious 😂 the cookies and cream 3 ways was good and had a great texture but I’m a little curious what the 3 ways was- there weren’t a ton of cookie prices or swirls. (Totally wasn’t bad- just curious what the 3 ways are)

The front of the shop has 2-3 stairs that aren’t super wide so if anyone in your party is using a wheel chair or walking device, ask to be let in the back. They were SUPER nice about it (as they should be...

Oh my do I love me some of the blueberry-lemon ice cream. 🫐🍋😋Also, a new favorite of mine , the Cinnamon-brown-sugar, oh my god, it’s so delicious! I love it. Reminds me of a delicious plate of cinnamon toast! However, my all time favorite is the blackberry-swirl with basil. Ya’ll must try this ice cream. It’s the best ice cream on the block! Also, not only do Ice Guy’s have delectable and unique ice cream selections, but they also have an excellent staff, who are very helpful and well equipped when it comes to their knowledge of the flavors of their ice cream!!
