McDonald's — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I have to say, this McDonald's is one of the most amazing and picturesque ones I've ever visited. The combination of the people, the food, and the outdoor atmosphere was truly wonderful. Yesterday, I was dealing with a highly stressful situation and ended up parking my van in their parking lot for the night. My two dogs and I have been homeless for about five years, but I recently got approved for an apartment and the deal is just about to close, so I can move in as soon as possible. However, I've been indecisive about whether to settle in Denver, Fort Collins, or Colorado Springs. Exhausted and unsure of where to go, I drove to this McDonald's and used my points to get a McChicken since I'm currently broke. The employees were incredibly kind and understanding last night, and this morning, I woke up feeling grateful that we were safe and sound with my two dogs. Staying in parking lots often brings various challenges, such as being harassed or yelled at. I'm not sure about the policies at different McDonald's locations, but this particular one kept to themselves, and I too mostly kept to myself, except for purchasing food, of course. They didn't say a word, which was nice considering how tired I was. I wasn't even fully aware, so if something had happened, it could have been much worse. After getting some food, I left and went straight to the Garden of the Gods lookout, where I was greeted with breathtaking scenery and an uplifting interaction. The view of this awe-inspiring, sacred structure left me in awe at this moment, where pure bliss, joy, love, and happiness fill my being. I go here and pay extra for extra toppings and I don't receive than I tell manager next time there and they credit me So I get exact thing and explain please make sure I get my extra but get home and there's no extra. I call in to the management that says I will replace so I say ok and still took pictures for proof. Now I go to get replacement and management put in book do not replace again. Very unprofessional and/or long lines waiting cause they behind and than they ask u to park to the side and lol bring out wrong food. Besides that place would be great and would be the best if management was all professional. 03/28/2017 new visit since last bad experience and got same thing. Which I always ask for extra cheese, grilled chicken, and corn chips which comes already in salad. Well, this time no chips at all. So, husband calls explaining that. Person on phone rude. Ask for manager and she was manager that was treating him like he was lying and getting smart. I truly think all night staff needs removed. Very unprofessional. She said her name was Cecilia cause we ask for name and corporates number. Enough is enough...we spend money and sometimes extra to recieve good food the way ee asked not to be disrespected and burnt out our money cause we cannot eat food, food wrong or/and made wrong... Now, night time manager Cecilia cancels all salads and refunds money at 2nd window saying you went to corporate and that wasn't true. my daughter there ordering and had nothing to do with last problem. Im not one to give reviews often... When I do its either to a really good experience or really bad.... In this case was HORRIBLE...(I knw its only mickyDs) but this lady was beyond Rude jus outright disrespectful.... Stopped in here after picking my wife up frm a long dbl shift dwn rd at what Id call nice restaurant...to get quick bite to eat and my usual (strawberry & vanilla shake mixed) Chic rudly tells me that she isnt allowed to mix them. I said that didnt make sense but whatever. My wife ordered and payed..then made a comment about how its always been allowed at every other McDonalds weve been to. The chic asked if we wanted to talk to a manager and slammed the change on the counter. We both said yes in fact we did. I told the manager I thought the cashier had a horrible attitude and what had happened..he immediately got me a mixed shake asap with no problem..aplogized for the cashiers attitude..and all should of been well. BUT it wasnt. The women came back and tossed our food at us and my wife had to remind her about the drink she ordered. We had planned to eat at the store but decided not to. As we were walking out she said next time if you want good customer service go to The Broadmoore location . Being someone who had just completed a 13 hour double in a customer service job..I was completely offended. I told the manager again..and she screamed at me.." I make minimum wage what do you expect?" I expect you to do your job. That is all. I dont think I will ever go back to this Mc Donalds after this.
