Went through the drive thru yesterday and the order taker gave herself a five dollar tip without my knowledge. I asked her to load $13 on my SB card. Then, on top of that, she handed me the electronic card swipe to pay for my order. I confess, I'm older and not sharp. I paid and gave a tip. As I was leaving, i realized I paid twice. I checked my electronic receipt and that's where I found out about the $5 tip. Can I just say UGH! I called the manager and he said to come back for a refund. That's nice but 1) is this girl that gave herself a tip, doing this to other older folks,? and 2) I have to drive all the way back out there and I'm disabled. It's hot and I feel like crud. Owell. Don't mean to complain but please hire honest people. I've avoided this location for other reasons, so bad on me for giving it another go. Won't do that again. The manager was real nice. Read moreI come once a week to this Starbucks in the morning. The staff are awesome. It is hard to have a friendly conversation with someone in the drive thru. Most people do not realize this, but these people are wearing headsets. So, when you are talking to them, they also have another person talking directly into their other ear. It is very hard to hear the person in the car when you are working the window. Yet they almost always ask me how my day is or what I am up to. They almost always nail my drink too. This particular branch, though, does make a unique impression due to its exceptionally amicable staff.
