Black Brick — Restaurant in Columbus

Not a bad spot. Good weekend happy hour too BUT there was some bartender who goes by “BRad” who has a bit too much fun talking about himself when you don’t ask him questions. He also has a tendency to charge you for his shots when you jokingly say “well if I’m gonna take another one then you gotta do it too!” ...and then your bill goes from an expected $30 to $88 somehow. (Shrug). Better bars do exist. Oh, plus the only people in there the two times I’ve gone have been myself, my girlfriend, and the bartender. Not a #1...

We went in because our original destination had changed their happy hour. Black brick allowed us to take advantage of happy hour which is until 730pm! The bartender was friendly- even introduced himself with a handshake and his name. He offered waters which has literally never happened to me at a bar. Happy hour is half off drafts which we were happy to take advantage of. The patio was great too! Best...

For such a small bar, Black Brick offers a large selection of craft beers and high quality scotch, bourbon, gin, vodka, and rum. There are always tasty and creative seasonal drinks to try. The patio is connected to the bar by a large door so in the summer time they open the door and the bar is basically outside! Another bonus is that they dont allow any smoking on the patio...
