My job and lifestyle are very active. I don’t have much time to cook for myself but I also have a diet to stick to. Chipotle crosses all of my dietary boxes so I eat here often, and at this location in particular. The portion sizes are clear online, the food is healthy if you are smart, it’s very calorie dense, and the staff here are generally amazing (I’ve been coming to this location for like 3 years now - I’m a known regular haha).
Unfortunately (and this is common at most Chipoltle locations) there is some inconsistency with portioning which leaves me frustrated.
I try to track my macronutrients but this lack of standard leaves me guessing sometimes. The website’s nutrition menu makes it apparent that each serving is one 4oz scoop of food. A chicken bowl should have 4oz of chicken. A double should have 8oz. I do not like ordering a double chicken bowl online just for the bowl to barely have 8oz of food in it when also counting if I have beans or rice in it. The bowl pictured should have around 12oz of food in it (8 oz of chicken and 4 oz of beans). It barely broke 8oz with the lid. What is missing and how much? These macronutrients matter.
Thankfully, ordering in person will warrant slightly more accurate portioning but it’s still never very close to how it should be. I’d like to know how much protein I’m actually getting in each of my bowls. Chicken is very protein dense so inconsistent portioning leaves me guessing when it really shouldn’t be that way. Overall though this place is phenomenal. They’re never out of stuff, very nice, and they all work hard. I know this could be improved on. I’ll still continue to dine here, I just wish things were more...
Read moreThis is the second time in less than two weeks that this Chipotle has sent my order with EVERY SINGLE MEAL MISSING THE MEAT! This is so unexceptable. How the hell do you repeatedly forget to put meat on a meal that calls for meat but have zero issues giving a little rice and beans? I know about the cost of your cheese but must be saving the big money not only skimping but completely avoiding putting meat anywhere near our order, huh? These meals had FOUR items on them. Only four. Not all the extras. Not even sour cream. Was it really that complicated? This store has done this to us twice now. I let it go the first time because mistakes happen but I guess instead that is just green light go to just never put meat on orders ever again. Then, to make matters worse, I've tried to get ahold of this store, then corporate but to no avail. The AI message literally said that they are too busy making tacos and burritos. How, when they are skipping a whole task? Shouldn't they have extra time to answer the phone by all the time they save from not physically doing a whole step in the taco, burrito and in this case, quesadilla making process? It's ridiculous and nothing will be done about it. Whomever will just keep on not putting meat on the food. I have cheese, rice and beans. Thats it. It's rude and it won't stop because there's no way to call the store or corporate, at least right now there's not.
Thanks for ruining everyone's dinner. A bunch of nothing is what we got. Cold hard quesadillas with nothing but cheese on them. Keep up...
Read moreI was disappointed w/ 1 of the cooks. A biracial looking boy w/ his hair blown out (neither cook had hair nets), his pants were sagging down to his groin area, i can see he was wearing black & yellow briefs.
He was on his phone texting, laying his phone on the counter where the food & chopping bored lays. He was in & out of his pockets, & using his phone right before he palmed the gloves prior to putting them on. I asked him to please wash his hands & change his gloves before handling my food and he displayed an attitude when he told me, "he just did," not realizing i seen every thing he was doing before he actually attempted to do some work.
Rather than doing what I politely asked of him, he goes right back behind the counter where the young lady was chopping chicken to lean his butt against the counter, and get right back on his phone, to do no work, while everyone else are working.
There was much he could've been doing, like cleaning the dining area, the fountain area needed cleaning, as well as the food assembly line could've been cleaned up , organized & restocked to look more presentable.
These youngins will never understand when you tell them it's unsanitary to have your hands in your pockets, handing your phone, then palm gloves right before they chop & handle fresh & raw food. These youngins will never care enough to think...
