The waiter said he was the manager and he was so rude. We have been to this restaurant and he is the same waiter and has never had a weird, bizarre attitude as he did on our last and final visit to this restaurant. On the 5th of July, we went there for lunch and I ordered the Chicken Pineapple quesadilla and did not realize it came with Chorizo. I was with my young child and when I realized it had chorizo (which I cannot eat due to medical reasons) I called the waiter/manager over and told him I'm sorry but I did not realize it came with chorizo and he persistently huffed and puffed, breathing hard, rolling his eyes and restating over and over that the word chorizo is on the menu. I said I'm sorry but I cannot eat this and if he can get another one without chorizo. We did not take a single bite of food and it was an honest mistake but this manager continued on with his attitude. He kept trying to see if I could just keep the quesadilla and I finally told him I'm not going to pay for it because I haven't even eaten it yet. Then he conceded and asked if I wanted another quesadilla and I said no we will not be eating here anymore because of the way he is treating us and that we've been long time customers and he's never behaved this way. They weren't even busy and I seriously don't know what the issue was. I don't know if he was intoxicated from July 4th or what but he was abnormally bizarre and we will never come to this...
Read moreFirst time here and I really liked it. First of all the interior was gorgeous, colorful, bright and an incredibly beautiful mural covers the largest wall in the restaurant. The place was pretty busy but the staff was on top of it and very nice yet our food didn't take too long, was super hot and fresh. I liked the salsa, pretty standard but good. I had the Chimichanga dinner and it was delicious! It comes with one beef and one chicken and I think I enjoyed the beef more but both were great. Super flavorful rice and beans, and all the little guacamole salad stuff that comes with it was visibly extremely fresh. My boyfriend had their al pastor tacos which wasn't your traditional pork and pineapple yet a steak with a (very spicy) salsa but he...
Read moreThis place is amazing, from the artwork to the FOOD. It definitely deserves more stars than the Chik -fil-a at Tuttle Mall (not that I'm knocking the Chik-fil-a at Tuttle Mall). I wanted to ask about the art, but I've forgotten most of my Spanish. I took 8 years of Spanish and also got into Latin American studies a little bit. Like I said, it was years ago, but being here brought me back to that time. I've always been fascinated by Frida Kahlo's life and artwork.
Even if you're not into Mexican history, come for the delicious food and excellent service. This is one of the few places I've been to recently that is truly worthy of receiving a...
