The interior of Holy Cross is stunning, especially the elaborate ceiling. The church's history and location in the downtown make it a natural stop for tourists, like myself. Weekday Mass this past Friday seemed like a good time to see the interior and also experience the liturgy. The pastor is a younger man called Fr. Ryan and like many his age, he seems quite traditional. After Mass, he retreated into the sacristy right away.
