Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams — Restaurant in Columbus

We did a mobile order for pick up. It was not a good experience. The line was long, which was ok. No big deal there. The issue was the staff member who completed the order and the attitude she had once assembling the order. I dare not repeat the words used, but it was not professional. The method of transportation of our items for pick up was not good for a cone. Where they may not be a great solution for this other than packaging them separately for the customer to assemble themselves it is a challenge. This was placed in a cardboard container flat and was a huge mess. Cone soggy and had a napkin wrapped around it which then also stuck to the cone making it inedible. My wife ordered the wedding cake in a scoop but upon pick up was told that it no longer is available and was required to choose a different flavor which was not very desirable for her at the time. Seems like an app change is in order for these stores that don't have a dedicated pick up line/window. Not a great...

I love Jeni’s and order from their website frequently since I do not have a location near by. I was thrilled to visit this location today. I wanted to try almost everything on the menu, but it was so hot and humid that I had no taste for a heavy treat. I couldn’t visit the area and pass up the opportunity for fresh Jeni’s so I gave in and got the trio (3 half scoops for $6). I chose coffee, cream and sugar, brown butter almond brittle, and gooey butter cake. I’ve had them all before, but was splitting with my littles so I knew these were good options. There currently isn’t any indoor seating, so we ordered our treat and headed outside to one of their tables. The service was quick. The employees didn’t go out of their way to be pleasant but they weren’t rude either. Can’t wait to go back! It’s seriously the best creamy ice cream I’ve ever had.

Worst service I have ever received in my life. Brought my friends into the place because it’s somewhere I love and always hype up. When our orders were being taken everyone was being judged, and my girlfriend was smirked by the employee in an incredibly rude manner, simply because she mixed up her words. She also asked my friend a question, but my girlfriend thought she was being asked so she responded. Right after the employee responds with “not you, I asked her”, once again in an aggressive tone. As I went to put my card in the reader at checkout, my hand was pushed away saying “I told you to hold on”, which I must’ve missed, but regardless.. I later came back in and asked for a manager, I gave the manager my feedback and the manager made no response and totally blew me off. I’m not too sure if the lady’s name was jayla.
