Ordered from this store to the best western hotel ....literally 500 ft from the store (1/10th of a mile) according to google... just one sub, drink and chips. Order took over 45 mins on a Sunday....fast my ass. When the driver finally arrived I asked if he had gotten a tip on the card which we used to pay (my gf ordered it and I hadn't yet asked her if she tipped. The driver stated there was no tip given from the card at all...he was adamant. The driver the proceeded to show me the receipt to verify....which showed no tip whatsoever, only the cost for the sub, drinks, chips, and standard delivery fee. I then tipped the driver handsomely apologizing on behalf of my gf as she usually leaves a decent tip (we have plenty of respect for the service industry). And ate my late meal. I get home to find that she did in fact leave a good tip on the card, the statement reflected the charge for the food and delivery fee PLUS HER EXACT TIP. I'm normally not a person to nitpick, or go out of my way for trivial bs... but I am furious at the deception on behalf of not only the driver, but the receipt as well. After further searching this issue I found that this is a common practice...they do not reflect your tip on the receipt and the driver lies about getting one so they get double....I'll live without the money, but there is no excuse for providing piss poor service and then adding deception to it for a small gain. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THIS...
Read moreI asked before I ordered: "Can I get just vinegar on a sandwich?" and they said yes. I said great, I always ask first because some locations refuse, thank you. They say "no problem". But then when they make the sandwich they put oil. I didn't ask for oil, I didn't want oil with a tiny bit of vinegar in it, I wanted JUST vinegar and that is why I asked ahead of time, politely, and clearly. They asked "do you want us to remake it without?". No, but that one is fine if you just add a little vinegar without oil for me. "No, sorry, we can't do that".
Come on, it's not that hard, the vinegar is RIGHT THERE on the shelf behind you, that's why I asked clearly BEFORE I ORDERED, for "JUST vinegar" 🤷🤦
Why do you make it hard/refuse for no good reason? It was a small simple request and I asked nicely. What's wrong with people these days? Why can't you just be a tiny bit flexible, just say yes, and we can all...
Read moreJimmy Johns is known for having excellent sandwiches, I know this because I’ve been to different Jimmy Johns in many different states. THIS Jimmy John’s however seems to hire soulless employees who are functioning on Low Power Mode.
I remember the days when you used to be able to go to any restaurant or even fast food joint and get the typical “Hi, how are you today, welcome to . What can I get started for you today? Yes, we have _______! Would you like to add ________? Oh, we don’t actually serve ________ but _ is a great alternative!”
The employees of this location can’t even put a fake smile on their face and will just grumble and grimace with any word that comes out of your mouth. I don’t need employees to wipe my * or even give a ** about me, but at least have the courtesy to take an order without displaying what a great inconvenience I’m being by ordering from...
