At its worst:
Bulletpoints:
•some staff members are very rude •more often than not the order is wrong •food is not fresh unless it is really busy •inconsistent drive thru ordering •no one ever folds the bag to hand the other folded end. This makes it really easy to grab the bag. •too many items in 1 bag.
Details:
Drive Thru ordering is sometimes a hassle. I've ordered here several times and no matter how explicit I am they always seem to have a question, or infer I meant to say or not to say something, and then relay the item in the order back incorrectly.
Tried several different techniques, like using the McMenu meal number system, or the McMenu name without number and both; no success. I just want to order the food the way McDonald's has standardized the process and eat the food I ordered and purchased.
Once the order is finally correct on the screen and with the staff member, the physical food is wrong. If you tell them the order is wrong they tell you to pull to the last window and wait for at least 5 min before receiving their next attempt at your order. Even that order is wrong, and if you customized anything, like modifying the condiments, or adding something; they neglect those customizations in this second attempt.
Even had a staff member hold the bottom of the incredibly full bag and tell me to "just grab it". Then when I went to put my hand under the bag to support the weight he pulled it back and said "from the top". I told him I didn't want to grab it from the top because the bag was too full to grab both sides of the top of the bag and I think it will rip. I then said I'll grab it from the top and bottom of the bag. He pulled it away again and said "just grab it, man". This is incredibly rude behavior. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry (hence the fast food) and I couldn't report this incident to management to correct this deviance.
At its best:
Hot MceeDees food, correct order, hospitable service.
Things that shouldn't ever be sacrificed for any customer.
Thanks...
Read moreJust visited the Columbus, OH Easton location and I hope either their managers or corporate reads this review: First they gave our food to another customer who quickly sped off with our order, but if you order a fish sandwich, and a six piece chicken nugget and get the following: a fish extra value meal, buttermilk chicken sandwich extra value meal, a six piece kids meal; and three drinks that you did not pay for, wouldn't you leave quickly as well? To top it off they asked us to give them the receipt since they could not fully remember what the order was in the first place. While holding onto the receipt one of the workers proceeded to ask us what our order was, then asked us to pull into the waiting bay. When we got home our buttermilk chicken sandwich meal had NO CHICKEN, only lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo on a bun. The incompetence is unreal and someone needs to straighten this mess out. No one pays attention to what is going on no matter when we visit this restaurant. By the way I spent the entire time writing this review calling the restaurant and NO ONE bothered to answer!! Seriously how negligent can one restaurant be? Take my advice DO NOT PATRON THIS RESTAURANT ever or if you do check everything twice in front of them to make sure they did their job right!!
07/14/2022 - Update it’s 2022 and this place still sucks! Last night my son and I stopped by and purchased a double quarter pounder meal; when he got his sandwich home, the burgers were completely raw on the inside and browned on the outside. Of course we called (last night and this morning) and the phone continued to ring busy. To boot we didn’t receive a receipt how convenient. I still say DO NOT PATRON...
Read moreI do not recommend this McDonald's at all. I went in to get a fast meal, but to many problems occurred with many staff members. The man took my order and a woman said something to him and took over his station. She then asked what my order was as he never entered it into the computer. I told her and it seemed OK. I sat down, screaming children running around with no parents doing anything to stop them. It started making me anxious. I noticed a staff member took what looked like my order to a different table (i had the number sign for my order on my table). He said that's not my order and I said I think it's mine. She literally tossed the tray on my table, knocking the receipt on the floor and almost dumping the tray on the floor too. She turned immediately as I said excuse me, because I noticed no cup for my drink. I got up and said excuse me a total of 3 times, being ignored every time. I said excuse me to another staff member who turned around and went in the back. The woman who took my order walked by and I said excuse me to her. I explained about my drink and she rudely asked what drink. I told her I ordered the combo meal and she asked what size and tossed it to me. At that point I was extremely overwhelmed and shaking. I did not feel comfortable in this particular McDonald's and the staff obviously does not care about being courteous or the fact that they were treating a handicapped person rudely. I would go to another McDonald's if you are in the area, the outside looked really neat, but that's the only thing...
