Pulled up lights are on sit at drive thru speaker for about 3mins...ask if they are open to get no response...pull around to window 1 where the credit card machine is hanging out of the window that is slightly open...pull up to window 2 where about 3 female workers are standing around laughing and conversing...I knocked on Window only to be completely ignored by 1 female worker and another told the 3rd as if she wasn't coming to see what we needed...3rd female then comes to window to tell me they are closed(24hr location with lights on)...take my family to the gas station across the street to try to make dinner back at the hotel...to our surprise upon coming out of the gas station...not only is our friendly McDonalds open but busy as well...I counted at least 7 cars in drive thru😤 my family had to eat gas station food because someone didnt feel like working? I hope to have better experience next visit to Columbus because this was horrible...only reason I gave 1 star was to be able to write review. This was about 10:36pm Wednesday...
Read moreWent to the drive-thru at 9 p.m. this evening. It was somewhat busy (nothing that was unmanageable by competent staff) and we were in the second lane at the drive-thru. I was asked to hold on twice in a 10-minute period of time.. After watching two other cars have their orders taken ahead of us in the first lane that were there after us, I tried to get the attention of the customer service person through the speaker. When I finally got her attention she asked me to hold on a third time and I tried to explain to her that she had already asked me to wait twice and that she was taking orders from people that came after us. At that point she became very snotty and told me "We're busy and we don't have no help." She had every intention of making me continue to wait so I said nevermind and we went down the street to Wendy's where we were in and out of the drive-thru in less than 5 minutes. Read moreMcD's to me has loss their friendly, fast customer service I was (still, am) accustomed to. Whether, it a drive-thru only or the walk-in stand-up, Gahanna or Reynoldsburg, I find the service horrible & rude. I actually experienced this at the E. Broad, close to Reynoldsburg location. I walked over to McD's to get a med. Coke. There was an older lady standing @ the counter when I arrived. 90 secs later, no one came to counter, emps were standing at the frappe/mcCafe machine close to the drive-thru, talking, 1 with her back to customers, the other looking pass us. As I was trying to get anyone's attention by saying hello (4X), now close to 2min wait. We were told 'we'll be with in a minute' 😡😡. Another employee coming from the bathroom, tried to get a cashier attention by clapping his hands, they ignored him. It was 5 mins after I arrived before the girl took my order. Why go there? Convenience & price. No car to go elsewhere. When I drive, I choose Sonics. But convenience & pricing, should not excuse or accept...
