The sandwiches are yummy! They offer one salad and it has nuts. I can't eat nuts, so I haven't tried that, but it does look yummy. On occasion we've had their pastries but my husband usually runs in to grab ready-made and very fresh sandwiches for the family and they're just delicious! My favorite is the turkey, cranberry and goat cheese on a butter croissant. The combination of flavors is interesting and delicious! My husband has had their Caesar chicken wrap, the prosciutto fig and fresh mozzarella on a baguette, and the tuna salad - all of which he really enjoyed. Our daughter likes the grilled cheese and the turkey caprese sandwich.
I hope they continue to add to their sandwich offerings, or switch up the savories menu a bit, like they do at 101 Craft Kitchen! I'd love it if they would offer customization, I'd love to have the prosciutto and fresh mozzarella with honey mustard instead of fig. That sandwich would be amazing with a side of honeydew! But we do understand it's difficult to keep items fresh, and we really appreciate the convenience of their grab and go sandwiches and savories! When we want to customize our sandwiches we go to our absolute favorite take out restaurant Jason's Deli!!!
Paris Baguette has a huge assortment of pastries, cakes, doughnuts, scones and other sweets. Their pastry menu is extensive and they also offer really fun holiday treats! Can't wait to see what they do for Christmas!
Paris Baguette also has a nice variety of breakfast sandwiches that I believe are available all day. They also have a very wide variety of hot beverages that look amazing, especially the pumpkin latte! I'll have to take my husband's word for it on that because I can't drink coffee. They also have tea, iced coffee drinks, and that pumpkin latte that all look really delicious. In addition they have frozen drinks and two different smoothies.
I think most people will be really happy with whatever they get at Paris Baguette!
One suggestion... I got a almond pastry, which is supposed to have almond cream in the middle. Unfortunately it didn't and that was of disappointing. My husband got the almond croissant, which was also supposed to have almond cream in the middle, and he said his didn't either. So that was disappointing. Hopefully someone will look into that and see what happened. Otherwise, everything...
Read moreSo I work at a bakery in KY, I've been a professional pastry chef for at least 5 years. The bakery I work at makes every single thing in house, from laminated croissants to even our own jam for Danish.
The environment was wonderful! Everything was beautiful at this bakery. Prices were a bit too high for my taste, but good on the business knowing their product worth.
On the bad side of things, I asked a question about some of the "fresh" bread they sold. Milk bread, VS a cream bread? Can't remember the second one exactly. But the worker didn't know the difference and I decided to pick the milk bread. I asked another question. "Is this bread fresh and baked here/house made in this bakery?" I was curious. I was told, yes, everything in this bakery is house made and fresh.
I believed them, and excitedly bought some bread. I love supporting other bakeries.
After driving back home (a good 3.5 hours) I wanted to try some of the bread! I tasted it with some butter and jam. It was alright. Not a bad piece of bread but it did not taste house made. It almost tasted like it was frozen previously (not sure if this is true but it felt like it was.) It also had a metallic aftertaste.
But I looked and examined further and saw that it was in fact manufactured in New Jersey. It had a bunch of unnecessary processed ingredients in it.
I was pretty disappointed considering the bread for 9 pieces was over $7.
Perhaps I should've checked and examined further on the packaging but I guess I trusted the person working there.
Just a bit sad :(
UPDATE: The owner got back to me, very kind gentleman! Explained some things about the process of how everything is made. Very informative and professional. I really appreciate how the company got back to me. Definitely a company that cares about their customers and is proud of how he represents...
Read moreMislabeled allergens!!!! If you have a sesame allergy do not eat here. They have multiple mislabeled items on the shelf and apparently can’t fix this due to “corporate policy”. This is also an issue for the staff as that’s where they look to check when you ask about allergens! It is very sad because this place is really nice and the people working there are also very nice. I did contact corporate about this and hope that they change the labeling!
*in response to the reply...I appreciate the apology. However-mislabeled allergens are NOT an inconvenience. Sesame has been one of the FDA's Big 9 major, common, and severe allergens for several years now and must be labeled appropriately. My mother experienced anaphylaxis after visiting here due to these errors even after discussing her allergy directly with staff. You have many items on the shelf with clear CONTAINS statements listing other allergens and omitting sesame when sesame IS present in the items. This is extremely...
