Have dined at both Ted's locations numerous times but after my experience Tuesday evening I doubt I'll be back. We had tickets to a hockey game Tuesday evening. The location is perfect being right by the arena, but knowing it's size and the increased traffic I called Monday afternoon to see about reservations. A gentleman answered the phone and was very nice. He said they DID take reservations but I likely didn't need them. I said it would be for tomorrow evening at 6pm and he said that was fine - I gave him my name, phone number and number of guests, he said he had us down for tomorrow, see you then. When we arrived at the restaurant at 6pm it was packed and there was a wait just as I suspected - I went up to the hostess and said I had a reservation for 6pm, she quickly flipped her wait pages around and then looked up and said "we don't take reservations". I was completely dumbfounded but tried to explain to her the phone call from yesterday, again she looks up and says, "we don't take reservations, it's 45 minutes do you want to wait or not?" She clearly looked down, lifted the wait list and looked at the one underneath before stating they didn't take reservations - I felt like if that was really the case it should have rolled right off her tongue without her needing to look over her papers. I'm not one to cause a scene in the middle of a busy restaurant so we left. We have made reservations at the Dublin location in the past and never had a problem, I assumed this would be the same but it was far from it. I was furious - and couldn't figure out if the person I talked to on the phone the day before was mistaken/lying or if the hostess was up to something with her bizarre paper shuffling. Ended up having wonderful service at Buca Di Beppo so we were able to make the game on time, but I still was angry about the situation and embarrassed, we were with another couple and everyone was under the impression there would be a table...
Read moreFirst off, all this was my daughter & I first time dining at Ted Montana. We were going to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Nationwide; we saw the reviews and menu seemed to have a little bit of everything. We were greeted, added to the waitlist, which we were told would be about 45 mins to an hour. We had over two hours to kill so we sat at the bar to wait. We ordered homemade chips and water. Was very busy, it's a very cramped space wouldn't recommend unless you asked and waited for a booth. We sat along the wall in a space two chair table that felt like we were always in the way as we were in the direct path of the kitchen. Also note it is not wheelchair accessible you may be able to get through the door, but you couldn't go to the bathroom and would have to sit at the first table in front of the door with the constant air flow from the door. Anyway, our chips came cold not room temp but cold and it had several random French fries which made me think they were reused. We waited under the quoted 45 minutes for a table so that was nice. Our waitress was a delight. On a side note, as we were leaving the concert, she was on a smoke break, recognized us and asked how the concert was. Very sweet. Keep her at all costs! Food was just ok honestly nothing special, fish was mostly brown and squishy and daughter got the bison burger and kale salad. Neither of us finished our food. It took well over an hour to get our food so we didn't stick around for dessert but what made this experience THE WORST was while we were there not ONE but TWO waitresses ran by us to the back crying over, we have to assume was a manager. He was a tall dark-haired man with glasses. So that just killed the mood, and we couldn't wait to pay and get the heck out of the there. Wouldn't return. One star because of the great waitress! Food NOPE - Atmosphere NOPE - Service Time NOPE. Sadly, I don't have any positive about the...

I ordered a burger without jalapeños and medium well and it came with jalapeños and medium rare. It took 20 minutes to get that, so I told them I would just eat the french fries. The server kept saying "I'm Sorry" over and over and over and over and over again. I was trying to enjoy my fries and all I kept hearing was "I'm Sorry." Then the manager decides to put his sense in and it was obvious that he didn't speak with the server first, because he immediately wanted to blame the server.
By the time they figured out what to do, the manager said they would put the burger back on to cook longer, which the server didn't know anything about. He took off sprinting for the kitchen. That makes me think that the burger was either in the trash or by the dishwasher. When I finally received my burger, which I was hesitant to try because of the reaction of the server, it was still under done and still had the same cheese with the jalapeño seed on it. I took one bite and set it aside.
Then to make matters worse, the server said he would take it off my bill and when we received the bill, guess what was on it... My uneated burger. So I asked him, "I thought you were going to take it off the bill?" And the response I got was, "Oh, I guess I can do that." You could tell by his tone that he had no intention of removing my meal.
We put enough money down for my husband's meal and left. On the way out the hostess said, "Hope to see you again." I responded with, "This has been the worst service I have ever had and I will never come back." She urged for me to talk with the manager, but why speak with someone who has no idea as to what is going on in the restaurant. It would have gotten me no where.
The only good thing about this place is that they're...
