Crumbl — Restaurant in Concord

A girlfriend of mine had a batch delivered to me so I can't speak to the service/location. But based on some of the reviews I'm seeing about service... I understand the frustrations but I also understand that this is a new establishment and there are going to be things that need to be worked out. Having said that, I'll probably give it a few more months to go in and get a batch myself.

What I was given;

Chocolate chip - slight crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Surprisingly not too sweet considering this had either semi sweet or milk chocolate chips. I got a slight taste of the salt which I personally like in all cookies to balance out the sweetness that does come through. My preference is to use dark chocolate but for a milk chocolate/semisweet, I'm glad it wasn't too sweet. Solid chocolate chip to cookie ratio. 8/10 Frosted sugar cookie - this was my favorite out of the bunch. I like me a solid sugar cookie and this did it for me. The frosting was also really good, I couldn't put my finger on the flavor but it was reminiscent of almond/vanilla. The cookie itself was a lot softer than I think it should have been as it easily came apart when I picked it up with one hand. There was a lot more frosting than I think it needed and almost took away from the cookie itself. It should probably have slightly less frosting so the cookie could hold its form a bit longer and so that the sweetness of the frosting doesn't take over. 9/10 Banana - I'm not a big banana person and I liked this. The custard on top the cookie and banana pieces but the custard itself didn't have a heavy/strong banana taste. The custard was also creamy (pugging consistency) but the cookie was a disaster! It for sure could not hold its shape with such a heavy substance on top. I ended up having to eat it with a spoon. The custard nor the cookie were too sweet. The sugar cookie was similar to the frosted sugar cookie if not the same cookie completely. 7/10

Overall, I'd give this place another try. I hear they rotate their flavors so I'd like to see what else they have up their sleeves. The cookies themselves are thick/big. Not sure how much they are a pop but eating even just half made me full. But again, i probably won't make my way there for a couple more months when they got things going smoothly (and hopefully new/more flavors). -1 star for the consistency of the sugar cookies/ratios of...

Cute little place and stays open late! Soft cookies with new flavors each week! Freshly made and super soft cookies (: Thanks again Crumbl Cookies! (First few times had the best experience)! 08/26/2024 (last recent visit…) Ordered curbside unfortunately at dinner rush perhaps? (6:10pm) Wasn’t met at curbside after a few minutes so figured it was busy & would be kind & go in myself to get the order to make it easier on the workers (I used to work in food so I completely understand a dinner rush, no hard feelings to the workers working away)! Saw my order sitting ready to go when I arrived and was excited waiting in pick up “line”. Everyone around me in “line” (more of a small group gathered at pick-up) was met with eye contact, asked what name was on the pick-up ordered and served. Was still standing waiting patiently figuring they’ll get to me eventually since I’m the “first” in line now. Started helping others around me but didn’t ask me once why I came in or if I had a pick-up order while in the pick-up line even though I was trying to patiently make eye contact with someone to ask for help. I made my way over to the order line figuring maybe someone else could check on my order for I saw it behind the counter still waiting… Immediately they went to back to pick up line once I had switched lines, and didn’t return until I proceeded BACK to the pick up line (since wasn’t receiving help once again). Waited patiently in pick up again until I was up next, no one even looked my way once until I made it back to the front of pick-up. I had to then ask myself if someone could please just check the order right in front of me (with the help of another customer stepping in after seeing me waiting longer than he was) so I could grab it and go for at this point I was waiting in the store over 25 minutes. My order was for 6:10, I left the concord location at 6:48. Not blaming anyone for I know how busy stores can get, but the customer service was not on point this evening despite having WONDERFUL customer service and encounters previously. Will still be returning, just slightly irritated that everyone was greeted warmly around...

Long wait just for cookies, but we wanted to see what the hype was all about! The smell of sugar permeated through our masks when we finally got in the door. Quick ordering when you know what you want. I mean, if you're waiting 20/30 minutes in line, you would think everyone would already know what they want by the time they approach the counter, right? Wrong. That's what holds up the line! LOL. The cookies smelled great, the kitchen was super busy! Cleanliness was a bit lacking if you ask me, refrigerator handles stayed dirty, kitchen staff all over the place with flour, eggs, oil, the boxes that the customers receive their cookies in are riddled with icing...messy, but the constant demand must make it tough to keep up? We ordered the 12 pack party box because why not? Cookies were very inconsistent as far as size, decorations/icing and amount of chocolate chips. A little disappointing to get a big chocolate chip cookie and your first few bites have ZERO chips. Errrggg. If it didn't taste like yummy butter cookies on it's own, I would have called to complain. My 2 dirt cake cookies were very dissimilar too, it was very evident that someone was cutting corners with the icing...wish I noticed before I left the store. Will I go back? Possibly...just to try some of the new flavors (that's the attraction I guess...always in search for the new stuff?) It's just sad to see that the fast paced work in the store makes employees serve inferior products for the prices you pay and the time you spend in line. Make sure you check the quality of your cookies...
