I have to agree with the other low reviews on here regarding the staff. My daughter and I stopped by to eat in today. The young man who took our order was very pleasant but the female manager and female sandwich maker were horribly rude when I asked for a napkin. They barked at me to look for napkins at the end of the counter and when I didn’t see any they barked again for me to grab a napkin on the other side of their counter where they lined up to-go bags. I’ve never reached over a counter into the Jimmy John’s workspace for anything in the past but they acted like I was an inconvenience and stupid bc they didn’t put any napkins out. The sandwich maker kept pointing at a lone single napkin on the to-go rack but there were two of us and I needed more than one. Keep in mind the place was empty. They were not serving any other customers at the time. Maybe bc they’ve driven people away with their attitudes. Inexcusable behavior and customer service but I gather the sandwich maker took her lead from the equally rude manager. When we left we said thank you but neither acknowledged us and again the place was empty at the time. Only a guy from the back said “come again”. Ladies take a lesson in professionalism and common courtesy OR find another job. If making sure I wouldn’t return was your goal, mission accomplished. I will not return. Read moreI had an extremely disappointing and disturbing experience at this location. While my food was being prepared, I noticed the employee’s ponytail directly touching the subs. I approached the counter to address the issue, and while she did pull her hair back and say "sorry," the lack of awareness and hygiene was shocking.
I walked away in disbelief but returned shortly after to ask that my order be remade. Instead of addressing my concern seriously, the employee told me, “If you find hair in your food, then you can bring it back.” Absolutely unacceptable.
The lack of professionalism and cleanliness was horrific. I contacted the corporate office, and to their credit, they did follow up. I also received an email from the store manager offering to remake my order but at this point, I have no interest in returning to this establishment. I’m currently waiting for a refund and a proper resolution.
I truly regret not reading the other reviews beforehand, as I would have avoided this place entirely. It seems my experience is not unique many others have complained about rude service and poor hygiene. This kind of environment is completely unacceptable for any food...
Read moreI guess "The customer is always right" just doesn't exist anymore. I went into this particular establishment to order a giant Italian sub. I asked for the sub to be cut in half and toast 1 half. The cashier told me no but could not give me a logical reason. The manager overheard and repeated the same as the cashier. I then asked if I could have a logical reason as to why not? I said " If I purchased 2 reg subs it could be done?" The answer was yes. Now I'm asking why not with the giant. They said it's not the same sandwich. I replied it literally is. Next they told me because it's a different sandwich. Again, it's not. I continue to ask for a logical explanation that makes sense. I received none. I finally said. You refuse to do it because you want me to pay more for the 2 reg subs. I got no answer. Finally the person who I believe said he was the GM offered to do it for me this 1 time. The so-called manager starts to make my sandwich with an ATTITUDE! She slams the bread down and slings the mayo. I am not exaggerating. They will NEVER get my business again. Horrible...
