I have been reading a lot of the comments and wanted to write this to give an idea of how it was like for the employees since I worked here about a year ago... First of all I wanted to say I know the veggies don't always look the best, but actually it's not the employees fault, the owner literally threatened to take it out of our pay if we threw out any of the veggies no matter how bad they look... Sometimes my coworkers or I would try to throw some out hoping we wouldn't get a call later that day... Also from experience of working closing shifts by myself almost the entire day I can say with complete honesty we get tired. Now I know that doesn't mean we should take it out on customers but sometimes it's really hard to not completely fall apart or scream when you have to do all the dishes, prep, and make sandwiches all by yourself... Especially when the owner would sometimes call and say one thing or another wasn't done right... A lot of bad reviews should seriously be directed at that owner... I was not a fan of her she expected so much from us but never paid us enough. She is very stingy and honestly I hope she loses her license she treated us like servents. The manager told him why are you here? If you’re just gonna be on your phone. The guy said I’m getting my friend’s order. She said just making me waste my time you don’t even know what you want do me a favor and get out. He told her politely give me your name, I’m going to report you. They insisted that I wanted a type of sub even though I told them a sweet onion teriyaki footlong. They never gave me a footlong just 2 6 inch subs, never charged as a footlong. Read moreSubway at Concord Mills Mall was a bad experience. The staff was rude. One of the workers was more I terested in her cellphone conversation the entire time. The other worker kept placing the meat on the counter withoutparvhment paper, exposing cross contamination, then put the food back into the container to sell to the next person. She was not trained properly. She cross contaminated the food when i cancelled my order by putting the food back into the containers it came out of. The manager needs to be terminated as well as the staff. Nobody knew how to use the Subway app. And on the app, itshowed the store as closed. The staff blamed it on SubwayCorporate. I have worked for several eateries and trained by their corporate offices. So, all in all, nobody with SuwY is Serve-Safe trained. I will be reporting this location to the state health department...
