Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Concord

So, I went thru the drive thru around 5:30 on a Thursday, 5/15. The woman taking my order at the speaker was rude and snappy, just wanted me to finish ordering. We had 3 people in the car all getting food so what do you expect?! I pull up to the window and waited for about 10 mins. We finally got our order and proceeded to drive home about 15 minutes away. We didn't feel the need to look in the bag because that's not my job, big mistake! After driving all the way home we realized they had completely left out our cheesy fiesta potatoes. The food was all sub par compared to the other taco bell 4 miles away. I opened up my new cool ranch doritos taco to find it cracked all the way in two and nearly empty. It looked as though it had just be tossed in there. I didn't get the taco just to eat the shell! Not to mention it looked like someone had already taken a bite out of it. At this point I was a little angry because I was still hungry. So I drove 15 minutes back thru rush hour traffic to return my taco and get the money back for the potatoes. I arrive and waited in line. I handed the cashier my taco and receipt stating I'd like to return this taco, which just returned a dumbfounded look, and proceeded to mention i didn't receive another item from the same order. The other cashier spoke for her because I guess she had never been returned terrible food. After the manager took care of putting in the order for a new taco and got me my refund for the potatoes, after i was there for 10 mins already. I waited a good 15 minutes for the taco to be prepped. I got thirsty so i bought a drink. Then I was still waiting for the taco, finished my drink after 25 more minutes until one of the cashiers up front asked what I was waiting for. "Oh, only a taco". After embarrassing the management once more, the useless employee in the back made the taco in under 30 seconds. "Wow, that was quick". I was so furious at that point I just wanted to eat my taco so i refilled my drink and walked out the door, neglecting to mention the baja blast is low on syrup. I just couldn't afford to wait 30 mins for them to replace that too. This is strictly for managers to see and hopefully light a fire under your employees. The taco bells in north charlotte, on W. T. Harris and Old Statesville Rd have you beat by a long shot in quality, decor, and attitude. I'll be intentionally going out of my way to the others until something...

We had the first horrible experience in probably 50 visits in 10 years but it was bad enough I will not go back. Probably the most visited place since we moved

We ordered 8 things, two of four things. No special orders or toppings. Just 2 of each bean burritos, layer burritos, steak chalupa and beef burritos. Was told they ran out of beans so couldn't get bean burritos, ok, no problem. Odd but ok. They refunded the burritos now problem. The manager as he was getting the refund finished said to the staff "ok, I'm done for the night". Boy he wasn't kidding, that was his attitude the rest of night.

Then I got home and the steak chalupas were not in the bag so $22 for 4 items, nope so called and said I will drive 10 mins back up there. As I was getting out of the car, with a bag in hand and the employee saw me but locked the door anyways. Told me I needed to drive thru, I was like no, let me in then two employees told me to go thru Drive thru again. So I got in the car and 20 mins later after waiting on 4 cars ahead of me I got my refund, no way I would trust them to make my steak chalupas at that time.

Needless to say, it was a very infuriating visit and we will not be back anytime soon.

Austin or Scott, if you see this it was on 07/13/2025, Davon I think was manager. I was told I could call y'all but honestly, my BP has had enough from this situation. The girl in the drive thru was handed our bag, she didn't pack it. Was very sweet and apologetic.

Unfortunately, I am not willing to come back for a while. Not saying never but going to be a while. We love this location as I normally get KFC...

Will never go back, iv been to this location more then one ocation. Iv had more unpleasant visits then good. from rude service, slow service, unprofessional conduct from behind the counter between staff members. The staff acts as if the dont care and the customers are a nuisance. Iv ignored it in the past until now. This was the last time! I pulled up to the dive through and waited and waited, nothing. At no time did I think this location was closed as there were customers out front, lights on, staff working behind the counter and two cars behind me in the drive through. Anyways they looked open, I drove around to the window, thinking maybe the speaker was out. When I pulled up to the window, the young lady from behind the glass at first Ignored me. Then turned and yelled from behind the window "we closed" that's not a miss type either. When I went to reply that on my phone it says open till 11pm, now if it was a mistake then ok fine, no worries. However she rolled her eyes, stated once again "We closed" as she flipped her wrist at me from behind the glass in a gesture to go away! Fine, no problem im not even made, I just wont be back, and with there attitudes I'm sure they wont care!! So I went to the Taco bell on 3815 Concord Pkwy S that's 8 mins away where there open till 1am. Im willing to drive out of the way not to be treated in a negative manner. Lousy...
