After waiting in the drive-through line for 20 minutes which only had one customer in front of me. I was asked to please wait no emphasis on the please. Once I placed my order I pulled up to the window where I was asked for payment. I do not expect a thank you for your order from Wendy’s anymore. I ordered a 10 piece spicy chicken nugget meal I was not able to get a bottle of water so I had to settle for a sprite. The employee did not ask me what size of combo I wanted. Just assumed I wanted the most expensive combo available. After pulling around and tasting my food I found to my dissatisfaction that the Nuggets were over cooked and somehow managed to also be cold. How they were able achieve this I find puzzling. I then proceeded to taste the fries which are supposedly crispy and fresh is the new logo however to my dissatisfaction they were cold and also overcooked. Like they had been sitting on the warmer for several hours. I proceeded to exit my vehicle and go to the door to bring this to the attention of management. To no surprise the door was locked. I knocked on the glass with no response. I looked at the hours of lobby operation and found myself questioning why it was locked. For I was there before the lobby should’ve been closed. Nonetheless I proceeded to call the restaurant with no answer to the phone to speak to management. Once that was concluded I decided to leave my distain with a review on Google so that other patrons would not find this issue again. I beseech corporate Wendy’s to take immediate action. This restaurant has been mismanaged for several years and I find the franchise owner to be lacking in leadership abilities and staffing. I truly hope that this is taken to heart so that this restaurant can be the standing staple of what a Wendy’s used to be. If the founder Dave were aware of the conditions of the food that was presented at this Wendy’s he would be ashamed to have this under his daughters name. With a heavy heart your...
Read moreWHY WASTHE EXIT LOCKED??? Visited this location around 3:00 p.m. on 8/30/21. After receiving my order I tried to exit via the only door and found it locked. After trying several times to open the door with my hands full an associate came and unlocked the door. When I reminded her that it was a fire hazard to lock the exit while customers were still in the store she replied that she was instructed to do so by the manager on duty DAVID due to what he stated was a staffing shortage. Now this was 3pm in the afternoon on a Monday so you can imagine the # of customers they had. Also this location is off the main road a bit and generally doesn't get a lot of traffic especially during this time of day. Upon my arrival there were NO cars in the drive threw but I chose to go inside so that I could wash my hands.. There was 1 other customers inside at that time. There appeared to be three associates and David on duty so not sure how this could be considered understaffed. They other 2 were actually standing around and talking with one another which I didn't see as an issue since they were NOT busy. Long story short seems as if David needs to be reminded of the safety procedures when customers are still inside the store and trained on what situations constitute a "staffing shortage" along the appropriate actions to be taken. ALWAYS SAFETY FIRST DAVID. What would OSHA & the store owner(s) sayif someone...
Read moreI pulled into the drive-thru at 4pm. There were two cars in front of me and after waiting for 10 minutes with no movement, I backed out, pulled around the restaurant and walked into the dining room for service. The customer that was in front of me in the drive-thru line also backed out and came inside to order. When I entered the restaurant not a single employee could be seen. The other customer began to ask loudly hello, is anyone here? A young girl stepped around the corner, drinking a beverage and immediately with an attitude says yeah, someone's here. The guy says oh I didn't know we couldn't see anyone and there was no one here to give us service. She rolls her eyes at him looks at him like he's a piece of trash and says yeah well we are short staffed. The guy says well can I place an order? She responds no we don't even have a register in the drawer and I'm waiting on my manager to provide one. There was also not a register in the drive-thru which is why they weren't taking orders there. The service was extremely rude. Actually there was no service since there wasn't even someone there to tell us that we weren't going to be able to order. If you're getting paid to work then stand at the register and turn people away or tell them they may have to wait x number of minutes before ordering is available. But don't hide in a corner, enjoying a tasty beverage, ignoring your job. This...
