Horrible communication! Employees acting like managers. Deceiving details on how to place an order. Need better training on how to treat customers and deliver better communication regarding processing of online vs. Phone vs walk-in ordering. An order was placed over the phone and wanted to utilize a coupon for a free 11inch pizza. I was told I would need to come in to use coupon but they were not very clear on the entire process since I was ordering curbside. I then requested they change the order (previously placed with another employee) to pick-up so we could use coupon. The previous employee indicated 22min to pick up order(Keep in mind order was already given and I was transferred to manager to apply coupon). At least, that was what I was led to believe. After a discussion with the 'manager' the understanding was order would need to be picked up via coming inside in order to use my coupon instead of curbside. I then asked to change the order to walk-in and that we would come in to pick-up the already placed order instead. Why would I place an order a second time? There was NO dialogue regarding placing order again since it needed to be changed to walk-in and walk-ins only place orders upon entering or that my order would not be considered a walk-in since it was placed over the phone. I already wasted 15min. on the phone going through the automated response that doesn't take orders that are 'Create Your Own' thus, getting transferred to an actual person requiring me to start my order all over again. Ugh.
They already had my order, my name and my number (the employee even 'welcomed me back'). No one said my order would not be considered until I was there in-person to place it. Coming from the pandemic guidelines of online ordering to curbside and now everything suddenly changes because of lack of proper training to reiterate such changes in guidelines? Poor! Just...
Read moreWhen I went to MOD Pizza, I thought it was just like a regular pizza place, similar to Pizza Hut, except they had more room to sit down and we're trying to promote it as more of a hangout type of restaurant. Then my girlfriend explained to me that it was similar to Subway in that you could get whatever you want put on your pizza, except they don't charge you for each additional thing the way that Subway does, or other pizza places for that matter. If anybody doesn't know, you pay for your crust, with several different options, including cauliflower, and then you just build your own pizza however you would want to build it with no charge for as many different things as you would like on there. I thought that was pretty cool, and I ended up making a pizza that was amazing. The servers that worked there were really friendly, and very helpful, which made the experience even better. I would highly recommend MOD Pizza for anybody that is looking to experiment with different pizza toppings, or anybody that is looking to be able to sit down and enjoy a good atmosphere with some friends or family. Food is wonderful, service is great, atmosphere...
Read moreThis was my first time at a MOD, and it was a fabulous experience. All three employees were wonderfully friendly and funny and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to make sure I got what I wanted.
I asked for a cup of ice, then later changed my mind and ordered a fountain drink, and the young man taking my order treated me to the drink. Really nice.
The food was terrific. The pizza was a treat for my father in the hospital across the street, and he enjoyed it so much that it made his whole weekend. The lemonade was fresh, delicious and super-refreshing. The desserts (high-quality versions of The kinds of snack cakes I ate as a kid) were an awesome surprise— I have a killer sweet tooth and they were maybe the best treats I’ve ever had from a quick – service restaurant. that’s not an exaggeration— they were really, really good.
So there you go: if I only had great things to say about the food, that would be something; if I only had great things to say about the customer service, that would be something else; the fact that BOTH are exemplary makes this...
