This is a small cute Asian restaurant that was decorated with flowers (fake) and cultural decorations. During our time, we think they were short-handed because there were only 1-2 people waiting on tables, serving food, and cleaning up the dishes. This made the wait times a little longer than desired, but it was still manageable! If you’re looking for a place to get Asian food, this place would probably suffice. However, it’s nothing special (at least not the food items that my family ordered and received). The lemon chicken was good! The lemon sauce was, by far, the star of the dish. The pho (a Vietnamese soup) was average, a little bland. It didn’t come with some of the common additional ingredients that you are normally offered with this soup. Not only that, the menu had said that the pho comes with beef, pork, and meatballs. The pho at our table only came with beef, so that was a disappointment. The worst thing was the fried rice. Unfortunately, the fried rice was one of the tasteless things that we tried at the restaurant. I’ve made fried rice several times, and comparatively, this wasn’t good (especially considering the price they're asking for it). The family agrees that it was probably just rice and eggs fried with butter. There weren’t any added vegetables, onions, or toppings. It wasn’t salted. It needed some soy sauce, and it would have been better if they had added some sesame oil too. Also maybe add some type of meat, but that's just my thoughts. It was a decent experience, but a little underwhelming. Whether it was the food, or the overpriced items, it definitely left a bad taste in our mouths. I don’t think our family will be visiting this location again unless the food improves and the menu matches the...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I recently dined at Sakura Asian Fusion, hoping for a delicious meal, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. While the presentation of the food was beautiful unfortunately, it completely lacked flavor. Beyond the lackluster food, the service was even worse. Our waitress seemed surprised by the amount of food we ordered. We each ordered one starter and two sushi rolls, which isn’t excessive, especially at a “sushi” restaurant. However, her reaction made us feel uncomfortable, as if she was silently judging us. It felt as though she was implying we were overeating, or fat which was both unprofessional and rude. The worst part came at the end of our meal. We paid in cash, and an 18% gratuity was already included in the bill, yet our waitress took the payment and never returned with our change—about $40. She said thank you and disappeared from the dining area entirely, forcing us to track down a manager just to get our money back. It was incredibly frustrating and left a bad taste in our mouths. Overall, the food was bland, the service was unacceptable, and the experience was uncomfortable from start to finish. We won’t be returning to Sakura Asian Fusion, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for quality food and respectful service. There are plenty of better sushi spots that actually appreciate...
Read moreOrdered Korean Bibimbap, Chirashi, Dragon, and California roll. This restaurant has no idea what they are selling. Bibimbap is made with all the wrong ingredients. Actually it only had rice, egg, bean sprouts, green beans, carrots, and meat. It had no ingredients that usually come in Bibimbap. It tasted like chinese dish not Korean bibimbap. Chirashi had dried rice, cucumber, fish egg, and chunks of fish! I mean big chunks! They were not sliced but in one big piece per kind. No other ingredients that usually comes in chirashi. Only the food made right(kind of) was california roll. This restaurant has no respect to food they are making. Reviews must be fake because there is no way their review can be this high. Oh, I could tell they made the dragon roll with eel fresh out of the packaged eel. Because it had the sauce that are in the package before cooking. Yes, packaged eel is fully cooked but it need to be heated before serving to taste proper. They didn’t even do that! They had Kimchi which tasted like cabbage in weird fishy hot sauce. Save your money and go elsewhere. These people do not deserve any kind of respect as they have none for the...
