Came here for my Birthday this weekend, overall had a good time. There were both positive and negative points throughout the night. Here was my experience:
We were on the guest list which is free cover, that was a plus. Downside is when you are getting ready to go in and they start to check your things, be prepared to have your privacy be totally invaded. The security staff checking purses and bags will literally take them from you and open every pocket, every container, or package you have in them, looking for anything that you aren't supposed to have. They made me leave a $100 bottle of perfume at the door and told me I couldn't get it back if I decided to proceed into the club and didn't want to turn around to take it back to my car or room. Which meant I would have to go all the way to the back of the line. So I left it. Overall the check in process was fairly quick.
The club itself is decent looking but can get extremely packed. A majority of people at the club are spoiled 21-27 year old kids. There is a 2nd line you have to wait in once you are in if you are on the Guest List to be able to go into the main part of the club where the DJ is. This line is not controlled people will just walk up and cut in front of the line to the point where it's not even a line anymore, it's just a big blob off people. I asked one security guards what's up with the line control? We have been in the same spot and haven't moved for at least 2 hours, but he said there was nothing he could do about it. I was eventually over waiting and line and decided we were just gonna leave, but omw out I saw a security guard off to the side and I explained about people just cutting in line and noone does anything about it, it's ridiculous. He told me if I gave him $25 a person he would let the 3 of us in a side entrance. I negotiated and said $20 each, he said ok deal. So I slipped him $100 cause I didn't have change and he let us in right away.
Once inside, the vibe is awesome, music bumping, smoke and lights going. Good Atmosphere. Then when we got to the bar the bartender was an extremely snotty and snarky brown haired girl. 3 drinks $75 (Titos with Redbull, and 2 Budlights). Each time you go to the bar regardless of if you order the same thing or not, the price will be different every time. Bought this same drink order 3 or 4 times and every time the price was different. One time $75, next $49, then $71. Very inconsistent.
Once on the main dance floor in front of the DJ booth, it is extremely packed. I mean literal nut to butt. People spilling drinks on you, kids overly intoxicated, people just pushing in front of you to try to get in the front. I was able to find an open corner spot at the left front of the stage and stayed there the remainder of the night because the view was awesome. The main DJ was Diplo ( was not impressed by his set), the DJ before him actually did a way better set, so bummer but still had an amazing time dancing.
All the security staff was kind and friendly, but I don't think I would come back again due to all the bratty, entitled, overly intoxicated kids, the rude bartenders, and their unfair inconsistent...
Read moreI had one of the worst experiences that I ever had in my life at this night club I was kicked out because I was "reported as having smoking weed in the bathroom". I explained to the security guard that I have not smoked weed in over 2 years. I let her know that I was open to being searched and even drug tested on the spot as I know that I have not smoked weed in YEARS. The security guard admitted they had ZERO proof against me but I still needed to leave the club. I'd like to mention that I am a 6 foot tall African American woman. I explained to the security guard that while I could smell the weed smell in the restroom, I had nothing to do with it. I let her know that I had a couple of beers (can be verified via credit card statements) and had to urinate frequently. I took my time in the stall to text my friends about the special makeup I did for Vegas that night. Things you don't think you are going to be scrutinized for in the moment I let her know that I was going to contacting my lawyer regarding this unfair treatment. The security guard said that they had no evidence against me, but I did need to leave the club immediately and I was lucky I was not getting a lifetime ban ...... For NOTHING!
I have never felt so discriminated against in my entire life. I was picked out of a crowd because I was African American and tall. My friend was with me, and no one stopped or questioned him. He is a white male. I was removed from the club for NO REASON! I told the guard if you are going to treat me that way, I would not want to be associated with the club anyways BUT I will be sure to share my experiences. I have not only contacted my lawyer but I am going to report this incident to the BBB. In a time where the world is so racially charged, I literally feared for my life be singled out in that club. I was told that I could not find my friends and no one told me who falsely reported me as doing drugs.
I am absolutely shaken by this entire experience. I will make sure that I tell everyone who will listen to me to take their business elsewhere, ESPECIALLY if they are African Americans. I frequent Vegas but I have never had such a horrible experience. I pray that no one else will have to go through this again but when you have black skin what else is to be expected. False accusations can ruin a person's life. I am happy to have gotten out with my life but I highly advise against this club and the entire...
Read moreMy first and last experience at XS. Went for Dillon Francis, the whole experience was shady from the beginning. The staff were rude and on a complete power trip. It’s never okay to touch someone without permission. I was grabbed on the arm by the employee as we were entering, as the woman giving out wrist bands went to give me mine. A simple excuse me would have done just fine. That threw the vibes off immediately. I spent maybe an hour total inside the club, I didn’t even see Dillon Francis. This was one of my first Vegas club experiences. My best friend and I went to the bathroom together, into the same stall, no one told us not to, no one stopped us. I was unaware that this was a Vegas rule. The “bathroom attendant” proceeded to beat on the door as I was in the middle of using it. I thought she was going to break the door down. She never said anything, never identified herself as an employee. When we opened the door she demanded to see our ID’s because, “we were done.” I was forced out of the club through a back hallway, she never told us why we were being kicked out. We didn’t find out until we were outside of the club. She walked behind us like we were some kind of criminals. She actually put her hand on my back and pushed me toward the exit. My friends and I weren’t even drinking. We had water and sprite the hour we were in the club. I’ve never been more humiliated in my entire life. None of the employees would hear anything any of us had to say. No one believed what had happened when I told them I was pushed, physically assaulted. No one would talk to us after we were kicked out, not even the two police officers who were posted up outside the club. I had a complete panic attack walking through the casino to leave. Someone needs to explain to the XS staff that they work in a club, not a prison. People don’t pay hundreds of dollars to be...
