This past Thursday I went to have brunch at Tableau with my family, the beautiful restaurant is located within the luxurious Wynn hotel, the restaurant is nestled inside the the Wynn Tower Suites and perched over a grove of pristine pools. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the elegant and luxurious ambiance and impeccable decor. They have this glorious avant-garde setting filled with fresh flowers, bright colors and natural light. But one of my favorite things was the back of the Louis XVI dining chairs hand-painted with a masked face. Each table had simple linens and a gorgeous single rose.
The attentive staff welcomed me warmly and guided me through the menu, which boasted a diverse selection of culinary delights. The service by our waiter Lester and his assistant Rolando was absolutely delightful, so professional, friendly and accommodating to our every whim. I give them both a 10/10
The culinary journey at Tableau was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.
I started with a robust cup of coffee and a mimosa with the perfect balance pour of champagne and OJ. I was also happy to find they had an “Living Well” menu with various vegan options for me. I ordered the Vegan Scramble With JUST EGG, Wild Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions, Housemade Cashew Mozzarella, Maple Tempeh Bacon, and Potato. It was delicately cooked to perfection and accompanied by your choice of toast. I also ordered the Belgian waffles with peaches and bourbon cherry syrup, they had a melt-in-your-mouth softness with the perfect amount of crunch. We also got the Tableau Burger, with Avocado, Blue Cheese, Smoked Bacon, Tomato Jam, The burger was cooked to our desired doneness and had a rich, smoky flavor that delighted our taste buds.
The attention to detail extended to the way they bring you the bill at the end, it comes accompanied by a small tower of macarons, chocolates and sweets, honestly it made paying for the meal a delight (if there’s such a thing). I was thoroughly impressed.
Overall, Tableau exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The prices were commensurate with the quality of the experience, making it a worthwhile indulgence for a special occasion or a memorable brunch (they’re only open for breakfast and lunch).
From the elegant setting and attentive service to the exquisite culinary creations, it delivered a dining experience that will linger in my memory. I highly recommend Tableau to anyone seeking a refined and unforgettable gastronomic journey in the heart...
Read moreI used to like Tableau. It was part of our wedding celebration, so it held sentimental value and we made it a point to stop by for each Vegas trip. But after our most recent visit, I can say with confidence—we won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else either.
The food has completely gone downhill. Our favorite dish was gone, so we ordered other items, including the pancakes and the wagyu burger. The pancakes tasted like something you’d get at IHOP, and the burger? No trace of wagyu quality—it was just a generic patty with a high price tag. We asked the server if something had changed, and sure enough, the head chef had recently left. That explained a lot.
But the biggest disappointment wasn’t even the food—it was the overall vibe. This place used to have substance. Now it’s just a facade. The prices are still high, but there’s no quality to back it up. It looks nice on the outside, but the food, the service, and the experience don’t match. It feels like they’re coasting on aesthetics and past reputation.
What sealed it for us was how we were treated at the front. I was wearing a tank top, and the hostess asked me to cover up. Fine—if there’s a dress code, I respect that. But a white man was sitting just a few feet away wearing the same thing, and no one said a word to him. As an Asian American, I try not to jump to conclusions, but that moment didn’t sit right with me. We brought it up to the manager, hoping for a conversation—not a confrontation—but we were dismissed almost instantly. No effort to listen or understand, just a lazy excuse that the hostess “probably didn’t see him.”
That moment summed up what Tableau has become: surface-level polish with no depth, no consistency, and no care. It’s overpriced, overrated, and frankly, not worth it. There are way too many better places in this city that don’t treat guests like they’re disposable—and that actually care about quality.
Save your money. Tableau is all show...
Read moreMet my nephew who was in town to celebrate his 50th birthday. Easy to drop car at Valet. Was given directions on where to go to get to Tableau.
There was a special paperboard form for laying personal effects, like purse, on the table. The wait person was quickly asking for our order, and also brought a dish the two others had ordered before my arrival.
Portions were full servings, not sample size. The others shared tastes, but being on a restrictive diet, I found food I wanted and ordered a la cart. Coffee tasted great at this brunch. Our food was promptly served, remaining hot or chilled as appropriate. And each of us exclaimed how much we were enjoying our food.
The staff cleared empty dishes discreetly. We were asked more than once if we wanted anything else. After an enjoyable meal we parted with hugs and well wishes.
I asked for directions to the restroom before going to valet. OMG! The beauty of the restroom I was directed to was stunning. The sink looked like glass and silver and some other metal. Warm water out of the automatic faucet without waiting for it to warm up. Automatic cleanser as well. Thick large p as per napkin/ towels. I was impressed and I have been in lots of restrooms in my life.
Valet quickly brought up my vehicle, which looked very old and dusty compared to the fancy cars at the Wynn (Tableau is at the Wynn). There was a cleansing wipe packet left on my seat, because I have a steering wheel cover in my car. I appreciate knowing they would have wiped the wheel down if not covered. I tipped well, as I had enjoyed my entire time there. Reccomend the...
