Our recent visit to Allegro Italian Restaurant, located at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort, was nothing short of extraordinary. This was our second time dining here , the first being our wedding anniversary dinner last year—and once again, Allegro delivered an experience to remember.
Culinary Perfection: 🍝The food at Allegro is a true celebration of Italian cuisine, crafted with precision and care. I enjoyed a beautifully simple yet satisfying spaghetti with red sauce—the pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce was fresh and full of flavor. My husband chose the delicate angel hair pasta with Parmigiano cheese and the classic Chicken Parmigiano, which was crispy, tender, and perfectly layered with sauce and melted cheese.
🍕We began with their freshly baked bread served with garlic-infused olive oil—a small touch, yet absolutely unforgettable. We also indulged in their tender, flavorful homemade meatballs, which practically melted in our mouths. Our friend ordered one of their pizzas, featuring a crisp crust and high-quality toppings, and we couldn’t resist sneaking a bite.
🍛A standout surprise of the night was the seafood risotto I ordered. When the dish was served, I looked at it and thought, “Oh no, maybe I ordered something I wasn’t ready for!” But after the first bite, I was completely blown away—it was incredibly delicious and exceeded my expectations. What started as hesitation turned into a decision I was so glad I made.
🍴Service Beyond Expectations: The service at Allegro is truly exceptional. Our server warmly greeted us and took the time to ask about allergies and food restrictions, which is a detail I always appreciate. I tend to ask a lot of questions about the menu, ingredients, and preparation, and I was thoroughly impressed with our server’s knowledge. He confidently explained every dish we inquired about, making sure we felt comfortable with our choices.
This level of professionalism is something I always emphasize to friends and colleagues—staff training is so important because everyone has different lifestyles or conditions, and attention to these details makes all the difference.
Ambiance and Overall Experience: We sat at the bar, where we enjoyed watching the games on their TVs in a lively yet sophisticated setting. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed.
For the second time, Allegro exceeded all expectations. Located in the stunning Wynn Las Vegas Resort, this restaurant delivers fresh, flavorful food, exceptional service, and an inviting atmosphere. The prices are reasonable for the quality and experience, making it a perfect choice for both special occasions and casual dining.

If there were an award for consistently disappointing dining experiences, Allegro at the Wynn Las Vegas would surely take the crown. My recent visit on New Year's Eve was a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant, particularly on a night when one would expect a semblance of festive cheer and competent service.
Let’s start with the service — or lack thereof. Waiting 30 minutes for a drink at a restaurant of this caliber is simply unacceptable, especially when the clock is ticking down to midnight. When our drinks finally arrived, it felt less like a joyful toast to the New Year and more like a begrudging concession from a beleaguered staff.
The food, a selected menu that cost over $205 per person, was equally disappointing. It's baffling how a restaurant can charge such an exorbitant price and yet serve portions that leave you feeling more hungry than satisfied. The lack of enthusiasm from the staff while serving our meals was palpable; one might think they were delivering a punishment rather than a culinary experience. To add insult to injury, our plates were left on the table long after we had finished eating, forcing us to stack them ourselves like some sort of twisted game of Tetris.
One expects a certain level of service, especially at a high-end establishment, but at Allegro, it seems that customer satisfaction is a foreign concept. The whole experience was a perfect storm of inefficiency and indifference — a stark reminder that sometimes, even in the glitzy world of Las Vegas, dining out can be a regrettable affair. Save your time and money; there are far better options in this vibrant city. Never again. And the server named Lorraine was absolutely rude. Allegro it's time to start looking at your staff and start firing and rehiring...
Read moreThis place turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. We were really looking fwd to some good Italian food and wine and Allegro did not deliver.
First the good: Our waiter was lovely and did the best he could. He also helped us resolve the issues on our check. My dish was delicious - it was the vodka sauce/prosciutto pasta.
The not so good It took about 15min to get our table (we had a reservation) and the hostesses at the front desk were less than enthusiastic to help us. It was a busy CES week, so I can see why this would be the case, but still not the best start to a nice dinner. It took about an hour for us to actually get our food. The kitchen made a mistake with our order. First we were brought the cheese and salami plate (this actually looked amazing; would have def taken that instead in retrospect). When we finally received our seafood pot appetizer it lacked in flavor. Not only was it under seasoned, but the broth just felt like the clams took a quick shower in it. No depth in flavor or anything to write home about. The wine we ordered was a 2018 vintage. What we received was a 2019. While the 2018 is on the menu for 82$, nobody mentioned to me the fact that it will actually be a 2019. We caught the mistake by chance and our waiter was kind enough to check the price … it was a 42$ difference! If we didn’t catch this the restaurant would have overcharged us for a mediocre vintage by more than half!
Some other things to note - this is on the casino floor and the smell of cigarettes floats into the restaurant. For those who do not like this, keep it in mind. Overall we left a bit confused and disappointed…was not expecting this level of poor quality from a Wynn...
