Subway — Restaurant in Coos Bay

I Went in about 10 minutes before closing time (which is10pm), there were several people in front of me, (including a super annoying, approximately- in -their- 50s couple, who I'm pretty sure were on something or drunk, or just burned out...) Anyway.. the only person working (younger gentleman named DARRELL) handled the workload, obnoxious customers, phone call (from the store owner I'm assuming, because he was answering questions related to what I would assume one would be asked at closing time), loitering patrons and a homeless guy, phenomenally! Outstanding customer service from this guy... Great people skills. And he did a GREAT job preparing my order as well. TO THE OWNER OF THE COOS BAY SUBWAY---you should give this kid a bump in his pay.... And NO, I don't know him. Just wanted to get him some recognition for doing a good job....

First off- we were the only customers in the place and did not get helped for atleast 15 minutes. Next, I guess I wasn’t watching when the guy made the sandwich, but I get home and there is hardly anything on it. (Live too far to go back) I ordered a veggie. You’d think that would include veggies..? Posting a photo to show . Maybe 10 pieces of lettuce ? The bread is hard. When the guy went to close my sandwich, I look over and he grabs his headphone out of his ear, with the glove still on, goes back and folds and wraps my sandwich . I sort of blanked it out of my mind and told myself it’s going to be okay don’t complain.. but I can’t get that out of my head and now I just don’t have an appetite. ZERO stars. I’m...

My 9 year old is crazy about Subway! He had to go to the dentist the other day, so we made the trip from Brookings so he could have his teeth cleaned. We always stop and grab lunch after the dentist and before we head home. Usually we grab Wendy's. Brookings doesn't have one, and being the wife's favorite burger, it's generally Wendy's when we're in Coos Bay. We'll this day my son says it's Subway. It was only him & I, mom and brother stayed home, so i said ookay Subway it is. The place was clean, employees were personable, and they whipped out our sandwiches in about 10 minutes.
