If I could give this place Z E R O stars...I would.

If you like undercooked wings, to pay for something you didn’t order and bad customer service order from Gionino's Pizzeria in Fairlawn 😋.

And the wings they did give still had a feather on one of the wings. Gross!

He messed up my order because he didn’t hear boneless and that I need to speak louder. Or possibly you can confirm that the order is correct and that if it wasn’t clear ask for clarification between bone in and boneless🤷🏽‍♀️ Not a Big deal mistakes happen but to NOT take accountability.

Oh then refusing to fix it and when I asked to speak to the manager you hung up the phone three times ....this is where we have an issue sir.

And for the older unfriendly lady ( with the white ponytail) telling me that they couldn’t listen to my concerns because she was “too” busy. All she could give was $5 credit for TWO orders of wings.. that they messed up. And that they would no longer take orders from me because I said how they were handling it was rude and unprofessional.

Whew, I would suggest the company invest in some customer service training. Possibly by the close...

Gioninos sent me a $5 off coupon for my birthday (thank you!). I went to order 6 wings online at the Main St location in Akron, and after the coupon it came to $1.99. I realize there's a Gioninos closer to my job (Fairlawn), so I call and ask "I have a $5 birthday reward, I was going to use it online but your location is much closer. Can I order over the phone and show you the coupon on my phone when I get there?" The lady says yes, and proceeds to take my order. I show up to pick up my food, and the same exact lady tells me that if she took my coupon, she would be giving her food away for free. She said "it HAS to be $5 off of $10 or something". I tell her it is not, show her on my phone the subtotal of $1.99 at the Main St location for 6 wings with my coupon. She said "I don't care what the Akron location is doing" - that's when I decided to leave a bad review. For one, don't tell me you can take a coupon over the phone that it will not take in person (you knew how small my order was, and that it did not come to your made up $10 minimum). For two, please don't talk to me like that....

I feel bad writing this review because I don't know the circumstances here, but after tonight's experience I feel I need to say something in order to save other people and their families from something so unsanitary. I am by no means a a chicken connoisseur, but I would bet my life savings that this establishment is selling rotten chicken. THE TASTE AND SMELL OF MY CHICKEN WAS LITERALLY THE EQUIVALENT OF SMELLY DOG FUR...do not let the layers of fried skin and spices fool you! After biting into this, I questioned if what I was experiencing was real, until I came to these reviews to see 2 other members that left negative reviews specifically mentioning the odor of the chicken. This means this is not a one-off mistake! I don't know what to say other than I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else because that was the worst and most questionable order of chicken I have ever encountered in my life! Stop selling...
