Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Copley Township

Visited the first time on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 and had no idea what to expect and was on a mission for a birthday cake. The Fairlawn, Ohio store atmosphere and staff were friendly and welcoming. The store was decorated festively and the cakes in the display case, well, I had no idea on how I was going to pick one.

Aurora took her time, explained about the store, the cakes and the flavors. We purchased a 10" Chocolate Chocolate Chip Bundt Cake, along with a mini of the same. Aurora told me she could make the mini special for our birthday gal. She came back with the mini wrapped, tied with a ribbon and included a "Happy Birthday" flag so that 85th birthday girl could have her own bundt cake. Also purchased a mini Carrot Cake.

The store visit was an absolute pleasurable experience! We arrived and left with smiles on our faces. We were surprised and delighted of learning about this shop! The service was polite and appreciative with a true local business vibe. The cakes were amazing and we will be back to purchase other birthday cakes. I believe we have started a new cake tradition with Nothing Bundt Cakes in Fairlawn!

We have bought your cakes for several years. The flavors are exceptional and the cake is baked perfectly. However, this year we noticed the cakes are not as big as they have been in previous years. You have also increased your prices! We understand inflation, but- to give us LESS cake and charge MORE is just not what you do to people who are loyal, and who you want to come back again. I would share pix, but I don't see the option. One more thing: I have read the reviews- some of the customers mention receiving a free bundtini, but it does not appear to happen to everyone. We bought 2 cakes with decorations- it would have been a very nice gesture to give us a free bundtini for each cake for purchasing this large order. You could even give away a smaller size than a bundtini- customers would be happy. I would recommend giving them a flavor different from what they ordered to sample the different flavors. All customers should receive the free sample if they buy- it should not just be a random thing for the staff to give if they want to. As I said: the cakes taste divinely- just please be honest, be fair, and treat us...

I ordered and paid for a cake to be picked up Christmas Eve days in advance . The store closed at 4 o’clock. I didn’t receive a call to remind me about my cake pick up until 4 o’clock. I wasn’t able to pick up my cake until day after Christmas when talking to the manager, she seemed very non-receptive about what it was that I was telling her, she wanted to argue with me about the amount of calls, and stated they didn’t have to call at all. When I realize the number that it was, I tried to call back. No one answered the phone when I was trying to tell her that if you’re going to give a courtesy call for a cake pick up that was already paid for that you shouldn’t wait until your closed to call or even just send out a text, And remind the person that they got to pick up their order.
