Words can’t describe how amazing our experience was here. Right off the bat, the staff and our waiter were friendly and patient even though they were a bit busy. The atmosphere and decor stood out to me as it went together to build a cozy aesthetic. I think our waiter was named Rich, not sure 100%, but he was soooo full of energy, cracking jokes. Super attentive while not hovering. For drinks we got taro milk tea and a hot tea. While they were good, they weren’t the stars of the show here. For appetizers, jalapeno puffs and fried crab cheese wontons. The wontons, perfectly crispy with just enough filling. The puffs were pretty good, not a lot of flavor though, but with their homemade soy sauce it bumped it up a couple points. Now I’m not really a sushi person, nor do have I had anything worth writing home about since the most I’ve ever tried was Meijer’s sushi. I decided to take a risk after reading the reviews about how fresh their sushi and sashimi taste. Ended up getting the sushi deluxe and my fiancé got their Japanese chicken fried rice. Let’s just say i was looking forward to my sushi/sashimi leftovers the next day. It was fantastic and I cant wait to come back! Edit: came back another 3 times bc of how good their sushi and sashimi is! Best around in NE Ohio in my opinion

Sakura is a hidden gem that’s perfect for sushi lovers looking for a wide variety of options in a cozy setting. The menu is vast, catering to every craving, whether you're a sushi aficionado or new to Japanese cuisine. From classic rolls to unique, creative combinations, there’s something for everyone. The rolls themselves are wonderfully fresh and flavorful, with each bite bursting with the perfect balance of ingredients. Whether you prefer traditional flavors or something a little more adventurous, Sakura Sushi delivers on taste every time. The drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—are equally delicious, offering a refreshing complement to the meal. The service here is impeccable. Despite the restaurant's smaller size and how quickly it fills up, the staff is efficient, friendly, and attentive. They make sure to get orders out promptly without sacrificing quality, and you never feel rushed. While it can get busy, the wait is always worth it. Sakura is a great spot to enjoy a tasty, satisfying meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in the mood for sushi, this place should definitely be on your radar!

We must have showed up just before closing, but the staff seemed okay with us getting some food and having a nice late dinner. I'm sure they don't do that for everyone, but it was very much appreciated. We ordered the pan fried udon noodles with shrimp and some hot tea. I also tried the seaweed salad because it's one of my favorites at any restaurant if it's available. Both of our orders came with a bonus small bowl of miso soup. The noodles were perfect. The Miso soup tasted good, and the seaweed salad was awesome. I will definitely come back here again when I'm in this area, but I definitely recommend stopping here to try their food.

Sushi itself is not awful. However it is just your run of the mill sushi with nothing special about it. Specialty rolls are slightly overpriced as well. My biggest issue though is sanitary conditions. My plate was chipped both times that I've ate there which is just a breeding ground for bacteria. On top of that I had a piece of glove IN MY SUSHI. Granted I did not find this until my food was almost done but once I did I completely quit eat. Honestly lost my appetite. there are a lot of things I can set aside but that is not one of them . My waitress (who handled the situation very well) brought out the owner or manager and she offered to bring me out a free salmon roll (the absolute cheapest roll that I ordered). I explained that I had lost my appetite and she insisted that I accept the free roll. I denied however. So once my bill was brought out to me, and it wasn't really a small bill, the waitress notified me that they had taken 10% off my bill before taxes. So therefore after taxes I got a whole 2.49 off my bill. I wasn't looking for a free meal but the least that could have been done was comp of my specialty roll or something that showed me this was a serious concern to them and taht they do not want other customers to experience it. The chefs wear gloves for a reason and having a piece in my sushi did not sit well with me. Not to mention the only person to apologize to me was the waitress, the manager simply seemed annoyed with me for finding something wrong with the meal. I'm really disappointed because I feel like I may not have a desire to eat sushi for a...

Myself, my daughter, and her friend dined in Sakura Saturday night. Our server was great, our food was excellent, and our service was awful. I'm not a complainer, but we were seated waiting for someone to at least take our drink order for 15 minutes. We watched as servers continuously walked passed our table. It got to the point I found the host and asked her was anybody gonna serve our table? She said yes let me go tell them again. About 2 more minutes a male waiter took great care of us. Whats disturbing is when a party of 4 got sat next to us their waitress was right there greeting and laughing and getting their beverage order. Which made start wondering was it the color of my skin. So after the waiter brought our final bill I put my credit card in bill folder and lady out of nowhere came grabbed my bill and card off the table. I almost got up to go after her but she went to the host station to charge my card and i realized she worked there. Why Her!!! The waiter was doing just fine. Made me think she was watching us the whole time as if we were not gonna pay. Then she had our waiter bring the bill back for me to sign. I hadn't seen this lady all night It threw us off. We were definitely stereotypes and it's not fair it was great food but I may not...
