I love a good Arby's sandwich, however at the Corpus Christi location I haven't had a good sandwich in well over a year. Everytime I go there I am extremely disappointed. I have once or twice called to let them know the sandwich had old meat, or that the bun was smashed like asphalt going into a pothole.
Or if I actually ask for a fresh and uncrushed sandwich, I might get one. The cheese sticks here are never cooked all the way through. Just because the outside is piping hot doesn't mean the inside is. It takes a little time.
Most times after a visit I will vow to never go back to this restaurant, but two or three months go by and I'm driving by and decide to give them one more chance. And they still screw it up. Yesterday both sandwiches were old and nasty. The cheese sticks were not cooked through.
For years this location would not repair their asphalt parking lot, which had so many holes it was difficult to drive through without the chance of ruining a wheel or tire. Complaints directly to the owner did no good. Oddly enough several months ago a half ok job was done and at least now the holes are for the most part filled.
I feel that it is finally time to contact corporate offices to let them know this restaurant should either be closed, or have new ownership. There is no pride in how the food is served, at least at the drive-thru window.
Today this will finally happen. So Arby's on Staples Street in Corpus Christi Texas. It's time to make some changes and either make a decent sandwich and cheese sticks or shut down. You are far too expensive to serve this terrible food.
As far as I can tell, possibly the only folks who can get this to happen is corporate. Please corporate-bring back the real Arby's in Corpus Christi.

Read moreThe first time my family and I went into this Arby's, the credit card machine was not working because they did not have the correct size paper for the printer portion of the machine.
The next time we went to this location, we were standing there waiting for our food at the counter and 1 of the workers was restocking the condiments bar. When she opened a new package of napkins, they went flying all over the floor. The worker then collected all the napkins from the floor and put them into the dispensers for customers to use. This woman either has no idea about the amount of GERMS on the floor that got onto the napkins or she is under orders from the management to put the HEALTH AND SAFETY of the customers at risk by utilizing contaminated napkins. Either way, this event alone was enough to make me throw up.
The final time that we went into the place, there was no ice in the soda machine. When I went to the front desk to ask for more ice, I was told that they could not give me addition ice because then they would not have enough for future customers. We spoke to the day shift manager and she listened to us, but she basicly stated that there was nothing that she could do about some of the situations.
Needless to say, we will never be returning to this Arby's because it is flat out dangerous to a person's health. And in my opinion, the facility should be shut down because of the dirtiness of the entire place.
I DO NOT RECCOMEND THAT ANY PERSON EAT AT THIS...
Read moreDrive through speaker broken, no one outside getting orders. After waiting 15 minutes with 3 cars in front of me I decided to pull into a spot and go in. Was ignored for 2 and a half minutes before order taken and then waited another 10 minutes for my order after taken. While inside the 5 employees that I could see were about walking about as if there were nothing to do while I waited for anyone to notice that I needed a lid to fit. When I asked for the lid the girl acted like I was asking for a gold nugget. I guess that's what I get for interrupting her leaning time. A guy came in for his order that was called in and still had to wait for it to be started. Ate my order in my car and as I was finishing up when the truck that was in front of me finally got his order. Decided to wait and see how long the actual drive through wait time is and the best time I've seen is 14 minutes from order at the window to receiving it. For those few orders on the screen there should be no reason for orders to take that long and it wouldn't hurt to add some personality and possibly a smile for customers. Sad to see the only Arby's in town so run down and such bad...
