Bazille at Nordstrom — Restaurant in Corte Madera

I ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken and asked for the dressing on the side because I do not like a lot of dressing on the salad. It came out drenched with salad dressing so much so that I could not eat the chicken or the salad. I did not eat any of it and asked them to take it off the bill. The bill was returned with the salad and the chicken removed but the $5 upcharge for added chicken (which was three small over cooked slices) remained on the bill. After getting a table we waited for about 20 minutes until someone asked us if we've been helped. It didn't even look that busy and there was nobody around for us to ask for help. It's as if they are playing cards in the back. After that we waited for about half an hour to get our order and it was bad. Chicken cesar salad was probably the worst one I've had. Took my elderly mother for lunch and the food was terrible we had eggs Benedict - eggs overcooked brioche toast soggy and potatoes overcooked would not recommend dining here lousy food although the waiter came by to check but by that time food was cold and to late as we were very hungry .
