I just left Anthropologie and I'm honestly so disappointed by the lack of customer service by one of their employees. I found an item that I loved, but it had 4+ pulls that were noticeable, (on the shoulders of the jacket) and I asked them if they could please knock down the price (they didn't have any other jackets in the store in my size). The employee ringing me up had an awfully rude tone and said "it's already on sale." After very nicely explaining why I'm asking for an additional reduction to the price (as the jacket wasn't on sale because it was damaged, it just happened to be on sale) she said "fine but marking this as final sale." Also in a super rude way. Her colleague overheard our convo and was nice enough to see if any nearby stores had the item in stock, but it didn't work out. The woman who was ringing me up didn't even tell me how much she'd knock down on the damage jacket, just rung me up and after I asked, she said she got it down to $62. Immediately after leaving the store, I did a calculation on my phone to see how much she actually knocked off after the sale -- and it was $4!!!!! Are you kidding? You're going to knock off $4 and mark it as final sale when it's fully damaged??? I couldn't believe the horrible customer service. I'm not really inclined to go back to this store. What an awful woman, and now I can't even do anything...

Very disappointed with their pricing of clothing items, it is not commensurate with the quality, have tried for the past year to give them the benefit of the doubt, however, the consistency of the aforementioned is apparent. Their sale prices should be their regular pricing on most items. I have tried tirelessly to get their system to send me notification promotions to no avail; even spoke with several in store associates, who offered to assist with good intentions, still no resolution. With the fierce competition in retail, I hope the company will re-visit their price point. Will go back to shopping mostly...

When checking out the clerk said they werenât eligible for the 20% Housewares discount. Not because they werenât eligible. Because they were already âon sale. However, she could provide no evidence that they were on sale or that they had ever been a higher price, even after checking on the storeâs computer system. False advertising & very poor...
