This review is for this particular location visited on Friday, February 12, 2016. We walked in 45 mins. prior to closing time and most of the food trays were empty. We asked why and they replied that they were closing soon so they were low on food. Really? Nearly an hour to go and you refuse to restock the table so that I can actually order some fresh food and give you my money? Most of the staff was too busy breaking down and cleaning equipment to help us. Our portions were half the size of my normal Chipotle meal. Possibly because they wouldn't restock the food table?! We had to pay for extra chicken and guacamole just to get a regular Chipotle serving size. My friend ordered 2 quesadillas and had to pay al la carte for anything more than chicken and cheese. The result was a paper thin weakly filled tortilla that he was charged $14.00 for two. One third of it didn't even have fillings. It was just tortilla! The cashier tried to make us buy a child's portion of stale chips that had been sitting out for who knows how long until we insisted that she go to the back and get fresher chips. This took five mins. Every person working that night was trifling. No one had a good attitude and acted like we were totally inconviencing them. I was shocked to learn that there was a manager on site and that he was letting these poor business practices go on. When we contacted the manager he wouldn't give us a food credit over the phone. He insisted that we bring in our receipts and talk to him in person. Not going to happen. This was my friend's first visit to a Chipotle restaurant and he will never try it again after how we were treated. Needless to say, stay away from this specific location if you are seeking good food with good portions and a friendly staff. Perhaps if there were a new staff and manager, I would try this location again....
Read moreAlways a favorite, dependable meal! Update: 03/05/2023 8:30 PM- I have been here three times since February. I walked out once (out of sour cream, cheese and peppers and onions), the last time, my bowl was have empty and again were out of everything. It appears they start to break down the kitchen way too early. This time they were out of a lot including the salad greens, peppers and onions. The rice was dried out to the point of being very hard. The young fellow making my bowl started scraping the chicken pan for the old, dried out peices on the very bottom. I asked if there was fresh chicken to which the guy at the end of the counter said yes as the kid started to say no. Then he still scraped the old, dry chicken into the pan of new chicken before giving me half of a spoon from the top of the new bowl Again, the bowl was only half to maybe quarters of an inch with food. I use to eat at this restaurant at least twice a week for lunch. This didn't count how many times I brought my family in. Two bites in and it went in the trash after biting into the center stem of a tomato. The restaurant I once gave four stars for great service, fresh and healthy food at great prices, has now declined to one star and it only got that because I couldn't give it a lower rating. It is time to try Hot Head again for my family. For a restaurant to go from four stars to one star, I would look at your management team and training issues before they put you out of business permanently. I will speak to a specified person if provided with a name and number regarding my experience. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO CONTACT YOUR ONLINE SATISFACTION SURVEY SITE. I...
Read moreSanitary wise, it is questionable. It seems clean, but I ordered carnita tacos, and when I got home to eat them...I took a second bite out of my second taco and a long black hair came out. I spit it out as soon as I felt it in my mouth. I am patient, so I thought, 'Can happen.' I put that taco aside and decided to eat my third taco instead.....welp....it happened a second time! Two tacos with long black hairs (both were inside my mouth)! How is this an accident at that point? I saw them make it so I wondered....how? I had to go back for a refund, I mean food isn't cheap these days is it? I went and told them the situation, and I didn't even get an apology! One of the workers just asked if it was a "black" hair to which I responded it was. They didn't ask anything, nothing, not even an apology was made, and they gave me a refund without even looking at my receipt. They refunded me for chicken tacos which are cheaper. I don't know what is going on there, there were not one but TWO LONG BLACK HAIRS, and I felt there was tension in there. I could be wrong, but I could have gotten at least an apology. It was disgusting, and now I would double think even getting food from there. Please make sure you check the food...
