I LOVED THE SPACE! I remember throwing axes down the lanes, seeing the white hash marks takes me back! It’s a great space with high ceilings and beautiful wooden beams. It’s was warmth and light.

But, if you get a beer, and don’t enjoy it because it’s got a few off flavors, and bring it up with the bartender, you’re out of luck. Don’t expect to have it exchanged for something else, you’re gonna have to buy a new one.

I had 2 sips of a beer, I tasted something off, and brought it up to a tender. I asked for a different beer, and he asked for my tab. I looked at him and said “This beer didn’t taste right, and I have to buy another one?” He said “well, I don’t think anything is wrong, and our procedure is to not give out beer. But I can call my manager”

I said “no it’s fine” (I said it like ‘no it’s fine’, but it really wasn’t fine, but I didn’t know what to say.)

So, if you wanna figure out what beer you want, make sure to ask for tastes of everything so you don’t get stuck with a beer you don’t like.

Nice beer hall, perfect for groups and also for just sitting at the bar. The Flagship Five flight of beers was the perfect intro to the West Sixth world of beer.

You can also build your own flights to try different tastes and obviously buy by the pint as well as a good selection of beers to go.

I went before dinner around the corner and it was the perfect start to the evening. I look forward to coming back earlier on the weekend and also...

We had my husband’s 60th birthday party at West Sixth Covington Haus and it was amazing! The staff were wonderful- from reserving and setting up the event space to bartenders and service! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming:) We were able to cater in our own food and desserts and have a cash bar available for guests. It worked out perfectly and a great time was had by all!
