Dynamite Dick's Dining Emporium — Restaurant in Cripple Creek

Haven't been in any of the triple crown casinos in a minute, thought we would try it out again( we are locals and live just up the road) we arrived at the front desk of the hostess, a group of about 4 employees where talking, no one even paid attention to us until they where done talking about 5 minutes. The elderly hostess sat us and asked what we wanted to drink* we wanted adult beverages but as her eyes glazed over and rolled back in her head as we asked for a drink menu* we knew this was going to be a no, she was cold and not friendly at all and looked at us like we were beneath her.. no idea why because were friendly and patient, she had no clue what alcohol they had on hand and let us know that it would be a long wait as they only have one bartender and "she's working both floors" she then brought us water, I asked about the menu online and she said "it was old" the new menu had hardly anything that sounded good, and by the way she was looking at us we decided to save her the trouble and we just got up and walked out. Once again the casinos have proven to us its not worth even stepping foot inside. Staff is always super judgmental, super rude, no one is friendly, and who would of thought it would be so hard to get a drink in a restaurant, in a casino... won't be...

Avoid this place . . . unless you like terrible food and service. worst steak I've ever attempted to eat (way overcooked, like it was left on the grill 4 times longer than it should have been and full of gristle; may be a good workout for your jaw, however) extremely long wait times for table service after you are seated, for your drinks, to get your food, and to get your check. You would think that the casino would want people to be moved in and out quickly to get back gambling, but this place is the complete opposite. The "restaurant" was approximately 60% full. Why seat people if you can't assist them effectively and provide reasonable service? This place is a disaster. . . You would be better off driving over to the grocery store, getting some Wonder Bread and stuff...

When my wife ask to have her eggs redone because they weren't done enough they sent her eggs over hard when she asked for over medium. The original order the whites were not done so they sent out over hard. She told the waitress she ordered and argued with her about what was over medium when she has been having over medium all these years. She decided to eat the over done eggs even though she doesn't like over hard. When I asked for a spoon for my order she acted like I asked for a whole new order. When she didn't bring it I asked again. She responded very hatefuly " I said I will be there in a minute" She then proceed to walk past us when asked for refills on our coffee.
