I decided to try this food truck in downtown Dallas. First I have to say their food was tasty and found the beef tacos something I had been searching for a while I finally found here. So I really wanted to like this place and make it a destination when I wanted tacos. The cashier was not very nice, helpful and actually rude to me. I asked for a couple of simple requests like to make a bean and cheese quesadilla without cheese etc and all his answers to all my requests were no. After asking for several things for my son who can not have dairy and received all no answers I was about to walk away and go somewhere else. He then offers the veggie taco with beans and that he could omit the cheese on that. So I decided to order that and also the veggie bean/cheese and the beef street tacos. When my order arrives I am given the quesadilla that I did not order as he said he could not remove the cheese. I mentioned that I think he gave me someone elses order as I didnt order this. He said no that I did order it. I explained the situation and that I was going to leave and not order anything until he mentioned the tacos and that is when I placed my order for the tacos only. He proceeded to tell me no again and that I did ordered it. Then another customer that was behind spoke up and told him no that he was behind me the whole time and heard everything and that I didnt order quesadilla and he needed to refund me that order. He then reluctantly told me he would refund me the quesadilla. He was still making rude comments when processing my refund. I will not be going back to this food truck even though I did...
Read moreThe vegetarian tacos here are okay, you get what you pay for at $2.50 each. What I didn't appreciate here though was the cashier's attitude toward me.
I ordered my taco and failed to mention if I wanted flour or corn without being prompted - completely my mistake. I am sure this man has to ask this question a thousand times a day and it is not fun but his attitude and repeated comments on the situation seemed unwarranted to me as I was completely polite.
Upon ordering, he asks if I wanted flour or corn. I apologized for not giving this information up front and said flour. He then said "See now if I had given you corn you would've been mad." At this point I apologized again and said as it was my error I would have accepted the corn tortilla. Then he says "This is why it's written on the menu." At this point I apologized a third time, perplexed as to why he didn't just accept my first two apologies for my simple mistake of omitting information...
Read moreFood truck in Klyde Warren Park. I got the beef street tacos and they were delicious. The beef was cooked just right, not over cooked like some place. The tacos were filled up with a bit more meat than what most places give you. The corn tortillas were lightly crunchy and soft at the same time. the grilled onions plus the raw onions gave it a nice touch. The staff was friendly the food came out pretty quick. The salsa was good. I will definitely be back...
