This was my first time dining here. It was my dad's birthday, and he suggested this location since he swears by their steaks. He claims they have the best steaks which I can attest is true. I am not sure if I will return because (honest review here) the overall experience wasn't the best. We made reservations for four at 8:45, but when we got there they said they only seen a reservation for two which was 100 percent an error on their end. The hostess was extremely rude with assuring me it was an error on my end. After going back and forth for a few minutes, she said she would get us a table for 9:15. After 9:30 rolled around and we still had no table, another hostesses advised us it would be a bit longer since everyone was apparently still eating. After, waiting another 15 minutes I asked to speak to a manager who was a bit more professional and assured us she would get us a table in another 10 minutes. Once we finally got seated, we ordered alot of food. I was especially excited for the mac and cheese but it was delivered burnt. I even tried it and it tasted burnt. I had to send all three orders back which caused me to wait even longer to eat. I am by no means a complainer but please reference pictures below. I am not sure why they thought it was okay to even bring that out but by the time they remade it and brought it out I was already over it. A manager never came out to apologize or to bring the food out another random server did which I thought was unprofessional especially for this caliber of a restaurant. All in all, the steak was great but the service from the hostesses could have been way better, the wait time was Insane , and the macaroni and cheese should have never been allowed to be brought to a table burnt its extremely disrespectful! The birthday dessert was amazing.

We checked in The Omni on New Year's Eve and asked if we needed to make reservations at Bob's and were told no, you just walk in and will be seated. I asked a second employee, he said the exact same thing. We showed up at the restaurant at 5 p.m. They asked about our reservation. We had to reserve a table but could not be seated till 10:30 p.m. We showed up at 10:30 and had to wait 20 more minutes to be seated. Finally we ordered, we told our server Andy ( which he is amazing!!) told him,the main reason we were there was to watch the fireworks from our room. Andy checked on us frequently and had a wonderful attitude amist all the chaos. He should be an assistant manager or get a hefty raise. We watched him check on all his tables with a positive attitude. This restaurant was slammed with many, many people and that lead to long waits for the food. We finally received our food but there was not enough time to eat it in the restaurant. We asked our server to take a picture of us and pack the food to go. We went upstairs and made it in time to watch the fireworks. The food was good even though we ate at midnight. Next time we will make an early reservation. Because it was New Year's Eve there were a lot of people that stayed a lot longer just drinking even though they were done eating. I hope next year the restaurant will have extra help. We will go again and ask for Andy!!

I’ve been here before so thought I would bring some friends back for the experience. Bad idea. We were sat and waiting over 15 minutes for our beverages (sparkling waters) and over 1 hr and 20 minutes for our food. During our wait, we were disturbed by a rude, neighboring table who felt this was the proper establishment to blast trap music on their cell phone. We graciously asked them if we could enjoy our $700 dinner without having to listen to their music. They politely apologized, turned off their phone and continued with their meals in peace. The real surprise was when the manager then presented himself at our table as though it was an issue with him that we took it upon our selves to extinguish the situation. This made us feel as though our experience was not important enough to have a legitimate request of neighboring guests. If this is the kind of riff raff you choose to have in your establishment rather then that of respectable adults with mutual respect for others around them, then I will be sure to take my $1200 client dinners elsewhere in the future. We had our food packed in Togo boxes, on our table for 20+ minutes before our server Bethany felt it was a good time to ask for deserts. Our entire experience was sour, drawn out and ruined senselessly by a management staff who had no understanding of guest priorities and quality of service

I wanted to treat my sister to a wonderful night in Dallas at the Omni as a distraction - my sister just recently and suddenly lost her 43 year old daughter. I made reservations at Bobs Steak & Chop House through Open Table-We were greeted and escorted to our table by Logan the manager- We were greeted at the table by Bill our server!! Bill was very personable and knowledgeable of the menu and choices- we ordered our drinks - which were very promptly served!! We ordered our entrees and salads- We enjoyed the bread that was served and the pickles etc that were on the table . Timing of our entrees was impeccable- Sister ordered the Sea Bass- I ordered the steak and lobster- both were over the top delicious!! Bill was attentive but not disturbing- Logan stopped by to check on our dinner- inquired “why were in Dallas- where we were from” - I told him our story- Logan was compassionate, sympathetic and so endearing- We know he is who ordered our desserts!! We didn’t have room for them but sampled them just the same! Bill our server was endearing as well! Thank you Bobs Steak & Chop House for your total awareness of each individual’s circumstances- your awesome attention to detail, the unbelievable food- but most of all the experience!! It was memorable, pampered and most of all a reprieve from the darkness that we as a family have faced! I do not have enough accolades or Thank Yous!! Truly a once in a life time experience for these two country girls!! JOB WELL DONE!!...
