Love the food at this place! Most of the workers are amazing and have good customer service. One thing that is frustrating is that if you come before closing you can't get anything that is fried or prepared in the back. My favorite bowl here is the WOW bowl (it's fried chicken over rice mixed with eggs + some veggies). Almost every time i'm craving F&F I come 15-20 mins before they close, and i'm always disappointed and have to get a regular chicken and rice bowl. I know that it's probably procedure to turn off the fryer a certain amount of time before closing so employees can leave on time but it's just a let down most times i've gone. At least wait till the last 10 minutes of being open to turn it off or just close at 8:30. Im sure most customers leave the store empty handed since half the food isn't available. I recommend the latest you try to go here is 30 mins before the time they close. If you get there after that the likelihood of getting the whole menu to choose from is very low. On the bright side they have amazing chefs and the owner is awesome. Their food is good quality and fresh! Always satisfied with my meal.

F&F Japanese Grill is a hidden gem in downtown Dallas—super convenient and definitely worth a visit! The customer service was on point. The staff were kind, patient, and really helpful, especially since I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to eat. As a first-time guest, they even offered me a free drink, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made me feel truly welcomed. Now the food? Absolutely delicious. The shrimp, chicken, noodles, and rice were all flavorful, and the sauces (pictured below) elevated everything perfectly. You can tell they put care into what they serve. The establishment was very clean, including the bathrooms—which were spotless and odor-free (always a good sign!). There was a steady stream of customers the entire time I was there—people of all ages dropping in, which only confirms how great this spot really is. By the time I made it back to my car, the ITIS hit me hard—that “food coma” kind of satisfaction. 😴 I’ll definitely be back—whether it’s this downtown location or another one in the DFW area. Kudos to the team at F&F for great service and food. I highly recommend this place!

My second time this week trying this restaurant. I tried it for the first time a couple of days ago around dinner time. I ordered the veggies with noodles. It was absolutely delicious! The place was crowded but it didn’t take long for my food. It was hot and delicious. Today I went around Noon and ordered the same dish, it’s not even lukewarm or even appears to have touched a grill. Within the last hour. Very disappointing. It’s even more disappointing than the white plastic bag that has been sitting in that front parking space for the last week! Just gross! I use that shopping center a lot and the same trash has been hovering this restaurant all week. I more than likely won’t be back unless I can’t find other options.

Ok so this might be a long review but I just thought to myself that anyone new coming to this restaurant needs to hear this. I’ve been coming here for awhile now and I’ve always loved their food the only problem I ever had was the staff not being friendly or welcoming or just good customer service the girls who work here are always so angry and so rude even when I had questions about the menu it was almost like I was bothering them or they had something better to do the service was bad. Till I went in Saturday night (03/08) around 7:30 let me tell you this when I walked in it felt like a new place new everything I asked is everyone new and Michael told me he was the new assistant manager and Alex was the new manager and that they were trying to rebrand and make the restaurant better and let me tell you this they did. When I walked in I’ve never felt this feeling before or welcomed in any restaurant Michael was very friendly he told me there was a 15min wait for white rice as I only eat white rice and I said I can wait and he gave me a free drink since I was waiting for my food I’ve never been treated this way before. the new management team is 10/10 I’ll most definitely keep coming back I wish I could call someone higher up or there was a phone number to call and talk to them about this but I can only leave my review here so again Thank You Michael And Alex so much for the...
