I came in this McAllisters Deli with a unique situation (I won't bore you with the details). When attempted to explain why I was there, the two young ladies behind the counter both looked a little dumbfounded (Respectively because it wasnt n there training). So they called on their manager Lisa and she came through the back with no wait. She looked me in the eyes and seemed as concerned/interested as I was in my situation. She made a swift decision with an immediate solution that had me enjoying the popular japeleno turkey crunch and cheesy broccoli soup with my issued solved. Even forgot about it for a moment.
She's definitely was born with that that's not something you can teach. Her professionalism, her table side manner, her attentive nature to me ,the customer, but she made me feel like a family friend or a neighbor. Actually checked with me two more times during my meal practically walking me out the door, like family does. I ate there in the restaurant I didn't feel she's going to let me leave. During which I observed every single person that was leaving get personal good bye/thank you's with a warm response back from the customer (I mean family friend). I can probably count on the top of my head of 20 different fast food/casual dining and restaurants right here within a stone's throw and I've been in every one of them and there's nothing like this. I can promise you that. Thee food is made with love they absolutely care about what they're doing here and what's going on not just here to collect the paycheck and complain about customers or carry a "not my job attitude." The whole crew in the whole place has a good vibe good energy and that good stuff you can train buy or fake. Macalister s has me for life.... That's my story

Read moreWhile having lunch at McAlister’s back in October I noticed a cookie tray they had made up for Halloween. It was darling! I commented on it and the lady taking my order told me they can make them up with 2 hrs notice.
Fast forward to tonight, I had an hour to kill between work and church. I thought it would be nice to bring a cookie tray for the ladies in my group. I apologized for the late notice and asked if it was possible to have one made within an hour..
TBH, when the sweet gentleman (it was his 4th day there) went to go ask, I half expected a “no” or at least an eye roll. Instead the two gentlemen who came over were beyond gracious! One said he could make one up in about 15 minutes. The other ran to the back and grabbed one he had just made up for a pick up in the morning and told me I could have that one and he would make another for that order.
They packaged it up in a catering bag along with tongs and napkins. I was told how great they are after a few seconds in the microwave. I was told to enjoy my evening and that “I was going to walk in looking like a hero with that tray!” I couldn’t help but smile! The professionalism, kindness and humor I experienced made me feel so valued as a customer! Thank you!

Read more4 out of 5 times we requested delivery (the first 2 times was about 2 months ago), they have gone to the wrong location. We give up. The food is good, but the lunch "manager" (I later found out she lied and was NOT the manager) on Tuesday, 12/30/21, was EXTREMELY RUDE and told me that our refund would have to come from Door Dash. I ordered it from McAlister's website, not through Door Dash, but yet the restaurant told me the refund would have to come from Door Dash because they were the delivery service. I was told by her that I selected Door Dash, therefore I agreed to a third-party. Wrong. I was NOT given an option, and it did not state it was a third-party until after I placed the order. "MCALISTERS" CHARGED US (per the bank) but I was told DOOR DASH would have to refund it. I visited the location in person to show them that THEY charged me for the food, but it didn't matter. They just said Door Dash would be 3-4 days, or 24-48 hrs, or something like that. I doubt we'll ever see the money. I have documentation of the charge and proof that I was not told beforehand that it was Door Dash, and confirmation from an email that proves McAlister's had the correct address, and I plan to send a complaint to the corporate office.
