I recently dined at the Press Box Grill and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the lively atmosphere of the bar set the perfect tone for a great evening. For starters, I ordered the Chicken and Andouille Sausage soup, which was a flavorful combination of tender chicken, spicy sausage, rice, okra, onions, green peppers, celery, and garlic. The medley of ingredients created a harmonious blend of flavors that left me wanting more. As my main course, I opted for the Blackened Salmon fillet served with rice and the grilled veggie medley. The salmon was cooked to perfection, with a mouthwatering blackened crust that added a delightful hint of smokiness. The accompanying rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the grilled veggie medley was a colorful and delicious addition to the dish; however, the Haddock Filet and Fries was a little disappointing. The texture of the fish was overcooked and it was a tad greasy. I would not recommend. The fries were good considering. I can't say enough about the delicious food I enjoyed at the Press Box Grill. Each bite was a burst of incredible flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied. Coupled with the lively atmosphere of the bar, it made for a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend visiting the Press Box Grill for a fantastic meal and a great time.

I arrived about 7:00 on a Sunday evening and wasn't sure what kind of a crowd to expect. Just about all the seats at the bar were taken so I sat at a table near the window. I wasn't sure whether to go to  the bar to order so I just waited. After 5-10 minutes a bunch of people left and a bartender came to clean up the table next to me. I asked him if I could order and he took my beer order and request for a menu. I spent some time deciding what food to order and slowly sipping my beer (which was excellent). The bartender didn't come to take my order. I looked around and there were maybe 12, 15 people in the bar area. No problem for two bartenders, I’d assume, but they seemed curiously busy. Still no sign of my bartender. I decided to wait until 8:00 and if no service I'd leave. At 8:00 I went up to the bar, quickly paid my tab and left. A surreal experience. Two stars only because the beer was so good.

First and last time eating here! $12 for this, which I have to try and pick off the foil it's stuck to. Including the salad my bill was $20..WOW. Grateful there's not too many ways you can get salad wrong. To make matters worse the on duty management/owner Chris, whomever he was, sounded absolutely irritated and short with me because I made the conscience not to contaminate my body by eating foil paper mixed in with my food! With all this AND having to drive back to the place, he made sure to tell the waitresse/bartender to charge me the $3.80 DIFFERENCE for the salad I got in place of the tater tots that were NOT EDIBLE. I should have known better because as I'm waiting for my order I realized this is the same place we ordered catering for a company luncheon, were very disappointed, and we've NEVER used them again. Needless to say my lunch was a COMPLETE BUST and WASTE OF $$$$

My husband and I went here last night for a quick bite before our show at the majestic. We had about an hour to grab food and this place was on the way. There were several tables open so we chose the raised bar at the back of the place. It took at least 5 minutes for our waiter to say anything to us and when he finally did he didn’t greet us pleasantly, but just said what do you want to drink. Since we were in a bit of a hurry I asked if we could go ahead and order our food too. I ordered chips and regular queso and my husband ordered the brisket sandwich. It took about 20 minutes for his food to come out. I waited again another couple of minutes for my chips and queso, which should’ve been brought out 5 minutes after I ordered it, and then my husband had to go over to our waiter who was standing at the front and ask him about my food. His response was not apologetic in the slightest. All he said was “that hasn’t come out yet?” And then shook his head and walked away. We waited another 5 minutes or so and by this time my husband had just about finished his food and now we needed to leave to make our show on time so I decided I was just going to ask him to cancel it. I couldn’t even get his attention so I literally had to grab his arm to make him stop and listen to me. I said “can we just cancel the chips and queso because we are in hurry?” He actually scoffed at me and said yeah sure, very sarcastically! I understand that serving is a very stressful job especially when you are understaffed but the least you can do is be pleasant. We ended up leaving him a pretty decent tip anyway simply because I knew it would take too long for him to go get us change! We more than likely will not be...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! We decided to come here for lunch for a co-workers birthday, and this was half of our groups first time checking this restaurant out. There was 8 of us and I’m absolutely appalled at the HORRIBLE SERVICE we have received!

We arrived at 11:30am, 6 people received their foods at exactly 12:25pm.... almost 1 hr LATER?!? Unbelievable! So we start eating however the other 2 people in our group have yet to receive their food. Mind you, these 2 remaining coworkers are vegetarians and both ordered a veggie burger. One of them receives their meals 5 minutes later, only comes to find out he was served a MEAT burger. Imagine being a vegetarian you’re entire life, and then get served a MEAT burger?!?

At this point, I complained to our server that my 2 coworkers have been waiting for their veggie burgers for 1 hr and 15min now, and the server (Ashley R. ) has the nerve to snap back at me and respond with “let me see what I can do”.

Another 10 minutes go by and they finally deliver 1 of the veggie burgers, and then another 7 minutes go by and they deliver the second veggie burger. It’s just ridiculous how long this entire process has taken, and we’ve been here since before most of the lunch crowd even arrived. It’s now 1:10pm, and we’re still waiting for our checks.

Long story short, definitely will not be coming back, very very disappointed. And I’m not one to write a bad review unless the service was really really bad. I used to serve for 3 years and I know what at least “decent“service...

The Press Box Grill m is located in Downtown Dallas off of Main St., near several other bars and restaurants that claim this area as home. It was fairly busy when we decided to stop in on Sunday evening on the recommendation of the gentlemen at the front desk of our hotel. The staff, particularly the hostess (?)/ waitresses working weren't exactly friendly or welcoming. There was a sign directing us to wait to be seated, but after several minutes of being walked past, having a staff member turn her back to us to continue her task of bar prep at the side of the bar, and otherwise being ignored, one of the servers finally directed as to have a seat somewhere in the bar with a flippant wave of her hand and no eye contact. The only empty table in the bar area, the very busy crowded bar area lol we had been directed to was covered in water or beer (or some other type of clear liquid Bar area. At no point during the 2£ minutes we qere there They do have a food menu which has some great dishes on it. They also had an extensive beer menu, which is what this place seems to be known for. I will say, being a bar and grill, my husband and I did not get the "bar feeling" from this place. It just seemed more of a resraurant with a killer selection of beers. Very small spaces for seating and bar area throughout. It was great food, so we may be back to visit just to eat, but if we are heading out for social drinks I doubt the Press Box Grill will be our...
