Food is EXCELLENT; staff is nice enough but not particularly warm. Been to VN for quite a while, had pho all over the world and the authentic stuff from hole-in-the-wall shops in Saigon. This is legit and what they would call "upscale." The meat quality is very good. The broth is superb. Be sure to ask for chili paste/oil. They don't bring it out with the additives but they'll gladly give you some. To me, it helps make the flavor real and alive. We are here two nights out of 7, and we joked that we should have eaten a 3rd. It was SOOO good. You only need the small -- trust me. And if you want a appetizer, the dumplings are delicious (I did steamed both times, but I'm sure fried are fine) and inexpensive. My colleague did fried calamari and it was nice too and quite a big serving. Really only get one appetizer for two people unless you're REALLY hungry. The beer (Japanese draft) was really, really cold (how I like it and how it should be). All in all, such a tasty venue!! The place has some window wall things next to the bar that let them turn the windows up and serve people from the patio for drinks, etc. You'll see that it's a popular place for drinks and small plates. My only recommendation is that the staff be just a tad friendlier. I would have said maybe it was just the day but it seemed similar both days. They're not rude or unfriendly. They're just not very warm either. Maybe it's a reflection of the things they have to endure with customers? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Can't wait to eat here again in a few months!!

Went back place was running a lot better food is better. The wait time was better still could use more friendly staff. Let me just begin with the food is really good and food portions are good however, I got to be honest. I had to wait a very long time to get my food, over 30mins and that includes the appetizers. I look around and notice they only have one server that has almost all the tables about 15+. I felt really bad for Juana and knew she was trying her best. She has to take all the orders, bring the food, clean up after customers, get the drinks and do the checks. It was way to much work for one person. I over heard some customers say that it’s always that way. The owner really should hire more staff to help make a better experience for the customers. I have been to many pho places and never did I have the food take so long. Pho is always something quick. We will not be going back. Juana made the night cause we saw how she was working and my boyfriend and I almost walkout but stayed because of her. Side notes.. They have no napkins at any of the tables. They do have good happy hour specials.

Quick dinner date with my boyfriend last night. Service was great, it wasn’t a particular server- it was all hands on deck with different people running drinks, food, refilling water, etc. Everyone was friendly and attentive at all times. We shared chicken skewers and chicken spring rolls. My boyfriend got steamed chicken pho and I got beef pho. 1. Chicken skewers were great! 2. Chicken spring rolls weren’t so great, they were cut in half so practically fell apart when we picked them up to eat. I didn’t really think anything inside had much flavor including the chicken- pretty under seasoned. The peanut sauce was mid. 3. Chicken pho was ok. The “steamed” chicken was pretty dry but the broth was good. 4. Beef pho was great! I got a mixed meat and everything was very flavorful and tender. I didn’t like that the broth wasn’t hot; it was like lukewarm. The portions however, were great! Lots of noodles and protein. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I love spring rolls and these killed it for me. Maybe I’ll try shrimp ones next time. Also because the pho wasn’t hot. Overall, we would visit again.
