So I've been to Dallas before but Neiman Marcus was closed on a Sunday. I knew I wanted to visit this iconic and historical landmark. I learned through a colleague that they have a buffet. I'm not into buffets but wat do amazing . Apparently, this iconic store was closing on 3/31/25 until management decided on Saturday to stay open through the holidays. I'm sooo lucky because I was able to have a most delightful dining experience and Roberto was an amazing waiter. The salads were delicious with such high quality ingredients and they had such and amazing variety for anyone's pallet to enjoy. The asparagus, green beans, roast and Mac and cheese were cooked with to perfection.
Shopping yesterday through the store afterwards was fabulous where every associate greeted and spoke. Rayna was extremely help and Manny in the purse department was exceptional. Apparently, what was supposed to be a closing party turned into a champagne celebration for NM employees which they are deserving of for the last hour before closing .
Unfortunately, my credit was left at the restaurant so I returned today. Bryce at Valet was extremely helpful hearing my concern and helping me navigate to loss prevention along with I believe Rayna ( she had in red Timbs and cute boho jeans with a cute jacket ) This two young individuals deserve to be commended for their exceptional customer service! They went out of their way to assist in helping me with this credit card situation and making sure a solution was considered. On the other hand when they reached out to the floor leaf today on 4/1/25 on the first floor by the jewelry counter the lady who I believe is Karen was underdressed, hair not kept and absolutely worthless. She was condescending informing me she could do nothing regarding my credit card, the restaurant is closed for 2 days and she doesn't have keys. So she was communicating she could not look through the leather fold they bring the bill to someone in. Clearly she needs training in hearing customers concerns and needs. Furthermore, she needs training in finding solutions instead of creating barriers. She should not be in ANY leadership role for Neiman Marcus as she is an embarrassment for her inability to provide customer service. When I asked to speak to a store manager she let me know no one was available and that meetings were happening. I stated well this doesn't help to create a solution to which she responded "I don't know what to tell you." She proceeded to get on the elevator and I did too. She told me I could get on the elevator and that no one was on the 6th floor . That was a bold face lie because Bryce had already taken me to the 6th floor. I can't stand people who do not operate with integrity. At that point she got off on the 4th floor and I'm sure she called bc store management and operations arrived promptly and found me speaking with Manny who was trying to create a solution like any leader does. These ladies Pinoli & Natisa were nothing but exceptional. Clearly, they realized I'm not an unreasonable person in my request. Looked through all sections of the restaurant and genuinely showed initiative in wanting to help me locate my credit card at their restaurant. They even contacted loss prevention and took my number. While my card was not located a concerted effort was made and I was satisfied and pleased with everyone other than this leader who is dismissive of concerns. These staff should be acknowledged while the other one should no longer remain employed. I'm glad I was able to finally shop at the original Neiman Marcus. It's...
Read moreNeiman Marcus is always a place you can expect excellent service superb food prep. The delivery to the table is just warm it’s hardy and elegant at the same time. My daughter and I frequently go there for lunch always for lunch. A very uplifting atmosphere and just loads and loads of smiles it’s a bittersweet place to go One can say that it’s the end of an era We would see little girls there that had gone to a recital. They would be all dressed up and the grandmother the father, families eating a beautiful lunch, but from my understanding, many of their stores will be closing. I’m partial to the main store downtown Dallas I remember going through there as a teenage girl I would have to ride the bus to school and upon switching buses, it would be sometimes easier to just cut through Neiman Marcus you go one glass door down the aisle past the counters, the cosmetic the perfume, beautiful things were in there, and The next-door would put you on another street on the other side of the building, so those were favorable times for us I think anyone that comes to Texas to visit or stay Neiman Marcus is a must do whether it be for brunch lunch dinner it is so worth it each time you go What can I say? It is elegance at best. You see the older queens sitting around in their beautiful diamond rings and you see the older gentlemen with a beautiful bowtie or neck tile in the middle of the week just out and browsing daily exercise many of them come from the Highland Park area Preston Hollow they come from Rich neighborhood suburbs America has been indoctrinated in wealth. There are unique riches and treasures all around and Neiman Marcus is a treasure of its own. It anchors any area it truly is a cornerstone. I know there’s a lot about privilege these days, but you do feel privileged when you’re eating and shopping and browsing through Neimans. Some of the floors are simply breathtaking that is my view on visiting Nemans and I hope that we will have many more to come and the holidays are simply a blast exquisitely decorated it gives new meaning to window shopping I love...
Read moreI felt harassed by what I believed to be a Loss Prevention Team member. I want to express the fact that I used to love going to this location. Not anymore. But a couple weeks ago I went, I was excited to go eat at the Zodiac. After lunch I was looking forward to buying David Yurman, they don’t carry it anymore & some fragrances. Well while I was looking for perfumes a homeless gentleman walked in grabbing a lot of fragrances (not my business) however my SA that is the main reason why I go to that location because I can easily go to Plano or North Park mall by the way, had to stop & go make sure the gentleman did not do damaged, I don’t think that is her job unless you guys pay her for that too then I apologize for not knowing.
When I was about to leave and bought quite a few things the guy that I believe to be from loss prevention just stood there looking at me while I was paying. It was so so uncomfortable, I felt harassed the way he was looking at me as if I was the one stealing. Why was he not taking a look at the guy who was actually making a mess? By the way I asked my SA why don’t you have the cops take care of that issue? Down Town is not a safe place to shop anymore, she stayed quiet, that leads me to believe the SAs are not allowed to call the cops when people are actually stealing but the los prevention are aloud to just seat there and stare at people that are actually shopping and trying to have a good experience. I don’t know if is because I am Hispanic he thinks I can’t afford stuff? I believe the security team in this store have their priorities wrong. I felt so harassed and uncomfortable therefore I will not be going back and stop sending people there as well, because I send a lot of Frinds and family.
This definitely will affect the way customers see your store. Specially because this store always has an issue with people that are intoxicated or drugged just walk in and do...
