I LOVE the staff here. Frankly, I don't even care for the taste of Starbucks coffee. I literally drive 3 miles out of my way every morning and have made seeing this staff every day part of my routine because of how they've always made me feel that they were glad I came in for a "cup of joe".
Lauren is the chief down here. She's on point, I can tell her staff respects her (huge quality of a solid leader), calls me by name, and is always smiling!
Matthew I've talked to the most probably for the past year. Really cool guy, always seems interested in what I'm saying even when he's not lol but see, that's my whole point in writing this review; these people don't do their jobs well, they're phenomenal.
Chris is another awesome guy. Doesn't matter where he's at in the room, at the least he waves and acknowledges me.
Alicia, for the record, saved my life. I came in one day and was absolutely dying of this nasty cold. Like a boss, she intervened and made some concoction for me that was a natural remedy of tea. Thank god she was focused during her training class on the teas and combos you can make.
In summary, as a Director Of Sales at my company, I understand firsthand the importance of how employees should represent the client. The folks mentioned above represent Starbucks to us, the public. And if their attitudes and behavior has sold me coffee, causing me to me to abandon Peets Coffee that I was raised on in Northern California, for a blend of coffee that is more acidic than my palate enjoys, that says something. Read moreAlmost every Starbucks I go look - no issue or problem w food & atmosphere & even service. This particular location, the server on site - when I picked up the drinks, there were only 3 out of 4. Told her I was missing a regular coffee for me. She looked at me in w "funny" way (very obvious). Then she went to get another server & looked at the cash register to verify befire she went to get my coffee. Very obvious: whoever prepared my order was sloppy & left out 1 of 4 orders; d server who gave me the order didn't believe & even trust me that she went to get another server & check on the cash register (most likely she thought I didn't pay for the 4th order - just a regular coffee); her facial expression & body language spoke loud; the extra wait time just to get my coffee she did think abt it - time element is impt. Other customers were looking. In summary: I don't want anybody to loose their job for this minor issue but it is certainly impt that this particular server might need more training on customer service 101. The weekday morning crew is very selective on who they deliver good friendly service to They are selective on whos name they choose to take to make picking up the drink easier. They greet some guest with " good morning how are you today , what can I get started for you" And other guest like me with" what can I get started for you" Even after me saying "good morning how are you today, I still get " what can I get started for you" , no friendly smile, not welcoming at all. Completely unpleasant. I will be reporting this consistent lack of good friendly service to the store manager, the district manager and the regional manager.
