I have to say. This was a very wonderful experience. It was my first time being there. Me and my father went there for lunch. And the service was awesome. Our waiter was very nice, very humble. Person took his time explaining how 2 order the food? What was good? What was spicy, what was not spicy? Etc, How to cook the food on the grill, Or how to change the temperature settings on the pots? The man really took pride in his job. And was a very, very good waiter. Me and my dad did the all you can eat k pot and grill they also had a seafood boil,(which we will try next but all you can eatttt come on 🤣 had to no questions asked lol. So then you choose what type of broth you get for your pot and my dad got the bone broth for his pot. And I got the Szechuan Broth. The cool thing about it is that they come in 3 levels. Mild medium and spicy i chose mediumlet me tell you it was very very delicious but definitely had a kick i think next time i will do mild but i ate it with no regretsnot ever a letter🤣💀 ( meet the millers quote ). Everything that is marinated goes on the grill they show you how to cook it not gunna lie was a little difficult at first but you get the hang of the process quick And every time we were done grilling, they came out and switched the grills for us instantly talk about service, they were so on point with it it was awesome. The food was very delicious and was fresh, highly. Recommend the k pot sauce. The food came out very fast. We started cooking immediately and on top of that they had appetizers and sauces, desserts like pineapple and little pieces of cake that you can go in have with no additional charge which was awesome cause you get all you can eat then a little extra. Highly recommended for any lunch. Quick bite to eat. But I definitely wanna try dinner. There were more options like steak. Etc. But if you wanna go get a quick drink and have a quick dinner with friends or just go out to eat. Highly recommended will definitely be back. Thank you to the waiter, and thank you to all the staff. That works there. Appreciate the service. And hard work you guys did🙏🏽💯

Terrible service Went here on the first day. As my party of 3 and a party of 8 behind us entered, a blonde waitress named Britney discourteously exclaimed ‘I thought we were done serving at 8, why are there people still walking in?’ to the hostess. It pretty loud in the restaurant, so the fact we could hear her and see how she looked at us, it was clear she wanted to be heard. Upon seating, menus were running out. A QR code at the table would help that issue. We ordered 3 hot pot and got K BBQ. Szechuan broth was good, very spicy. Ordered the spicy and garlic chicken, spicy salmon and steak, chicken was cut very finely. A bit difficult to cook properly due to size. Steak was generously sized. The both was too spicy for my mother, the manager kindly offered to exchange the broth for a less spicer one. We appreciated that. Service at first was pleasant. The portions of the vegetables were quite small, we ordered mushrooms and bok choy, we received 3 shiitake mushrooms and 3 pieces of bok choy. Due to this, we had to order more, which may have caused our waitress to rush us out. She was not clear with her reasoning for the dessert not coming, something about it taking too long to make, when my party was still eating their meal. The manager later said they didn’t have it, which was fine, unsure of the lack of communication on a simple thing. Our plates were cleared too quickly, some still with uneaten items. Which was saddening due to the small portions. They need fans to help reduce the smoke. Hopefully they improve as this was their first day. I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon, will continue to drive to Flushing, NY for hot pot.

We drove from Kent all the way to Danbury to try out Hungry Pot based on a recommendation from a student. When we arrived there, we had plenty of parking. The price was fair at just over $30 per person for all you can eat. I haven’t had that kind of price for a dinner in a while. It was definitely worth the dive. Our waitress was Chinese and really worked with us on our order (she was very nice). We were visiting from Taiwan and we love eating hotpot :). All orders were done on an iPad and were delivered fairly quickly. We ordered 3 non-spicy hot pots and it really hit the spot because it was freezing cold outside (35F). We tried several different meats and settled into just ordering sliced rib eye which was pretty good. They also had all you can eat crab legs which I loved to eat. The only thing I would change to make it better was that they had all the dirty dishes and trash near the front area where we were eating. If they could keep that in the back room and away from the dining area, it would be more pleasant. Other than that, it was a very good meal and the restaurant felt pretty clean. Would I go back again ? Yes !!! It was about a 40 minute drive for us but when you want hot pot this place hit the spot. Fortunately, we got there early because it started getting crowded about 20 minutes after we got there.

Be wary of the 5 star reviews as they try to incentivize good reviews by offering free drinks in exchange. First time coming here but not my first experience getting hot pot. This was probably my worst hot pot experience overall. The food and ingredients were mid overall. The sanitation was highly questionable and I found a hair on a fried tofu piece. For me the frustrating part mainly came when we finally got the bill. I totally understand that hot pot isn't cheap, but my main gripe with this place is the amount of additional fees they add on to everything. To discourage food waste they tack on an additional fee for leftover food. This I am typically fine with, but they give you absurdly large serving sizes that are difficult to eat in one sitting. On top of that, to take home any leftovers they charge you and additional 13.99 per container. The containers for takeaway are TINY. Far smaller than the started 16 oz sizes you often get. I have included a photo comparing a 16oz deli container to share. I'm total we paid about 125 during lunch hour for the both of us, not Including tip. 45 for the two of us for hot pot, 25 for drinks, and the rest was the additional service fees. Will definitely not be returning.

Good food. They don’t accept reservations. It’s a first come first serve basis. We are a party of 5 and since it was busy we accepted a table with 4 hotpot tops and figured I’ll order seafood broil instead. I only ordered 3 things in their big menu - lobster, shrimp and scallops (about $50). For hot pot they serve the food fast but for seafood broil it took forever that we had to cancel the order since my family was almost done eating and my seafood broil was still not ready when I asked. Maybe just an off day. Maybe it’s this location. But we’ve been to other hot pot places numerous times and always had excellent service everytime. We should have taken the sign when we saw how the family in front of us was treated. Lady in front of us before getting seated was asking some questions and the person at the front desk seems to have no patience to answer her questions so another gentleman got involved. We were gonna leave but the kids were hungry after a day of activities. Needless to say it wasn’t the best experience. Specially for mom’s day. Not sure we’ll be back here.

Attached to the Comfort Inn, which was very convenient if staying there. I was solo, so I didn't want to get a hot pot or a large cajun boil. Decided to try the oyster po boy. The oysters were really good, fried well and tasty. Bread was good, and it came with tomatoes and lettuce. Was disappointed there were no pickles. The remoulade was served on the side so you could add as much or little as you wanted. Sweet potato fries were cooked well also. I was surprised they don't have any mayonnaise. Sever said fries came with honey mustard sauce, but they did not (I don't like ketchup). Basic draft beer selection and larger cocktail menu available. You can also ask for a to go drink/draft beer to take back to your hotel room. Was not busy on a Monday or Tuesday night. Would go again if staying at this hotel due to the convenience. Staff was all very friendly and attentive.
