This is opening week, so I wouldn't be too harsh on them, but there is room for some improvement. On the plus side, the staff person at the front register was welcoming and friendly. It would have been good if they pointed out that the bags (pick up order) indicate how many bags are in the order - - I almost walked away after picking up what I was directed to pick up and then realized there was another bag (that can be addressed in training easily enough). The web-site is easy enough to navigate (however, they should specify where the pick up area is located -- I went to the counter and took my place in line only to be informed [kindly enough] that the orders are located elsewhere for pick up. There is one point of unnecessary redundancy on the website that could be eliminated (restaurant located and then asks to enter zip code of the restaurant you just identified). The sandwiches were preferred over the chicken fingers. The fingers were of good quality, but the flavor was somewhat unremarkable... good and certainly fresh and one would enjoy coming back for more, but not at the level where you would crave doing so. Those in our party who tried the sauce (tubs) genuinely enjoyed it. The fries were limp -- I don't know if this was the result of sitting in the styrofoam container for a pick up order or not (picked up right on time and drove about 15 minutes to where we all met)-- it was however the end result. I was surprised with an order over $80 that there were no napkins in the bags. One point of disappointment was that no ketchup packets or hot sauce packets were in the bags either although they had been requested when placing the order on-line. At least one family member is a sauce enthusiast, so that was disappointing, and with an order of that size, that is a lot of fries with no ketchup. The team seemed to be handling the rush of lunch hour easily enough. Restaurant appeared very clean -- and although one might think that it should be so during opening week, there has been A LOT of traffic there and it wouldn't take long for an area to have an appearance of disarray but they on top of it and kept it in...
Read moreHonest review: Does it live up to the hype? To some extent for sure.
-The chicken is Hot, Juicy, and does actually have flavor at least in my opinion, seems like most people are now use to over seasoning of food in these reviews. It has a marinade pepper taste by itself.
-As far as the Cane's Sauce.. Liquid gold, if you're a fan of pickles, and a little tang it's the absolute best sauce I've tried at a chicken restaurant, it's a must to enjoy your meal to the fullest extent.
-The fries.. I'll be honest, they lack any sort of flavor, generally are mushy due to the 'to go' Styrofoam containers. Does this mean they aren't edible? No, but I believe they need either more salt and pepper, or at least a dusting of some sort of seasoning to match the chicken better (like zaxby's). I also want to point out it's very possible they can be perfect if eaten inside, I believe the to-go containers make them soggy from the heat, as everything is made hot and fresh.
-Workers: Literally chick fila quality workers. Nice, kind, reassuring, and very fast at getting orders out properly. It's nice to finally have another local chain that understands the employees should be welcoming and respectful.
-Finally the location, absolute prime location for this business and they are killing it this week with the opening. The downside is simply that it's a small area, your best bet is to get your orders to-go through the double drive through, as it's much faster and you don't have to stand with a crowd waiting in a small building.
Overall 4.5/5 and I would 100%...
Read moreOkay so Clearly I can see from other reviews That maybe this is the type of place that you have to eat in to get a better experience! Today was my first time and my fingers were crossed 🤞 that we could find another Gem 💎 But instead at the dinner hour from all the hype I have heard I live not even 2 minutes away and immediately wanted to try it ive been waiting for a while for the newness to calm down and here I am spending 13$ on a 4- strip chicken tender and I asked the host what was her favorite she said the sandwich yet I have heard all the rants about the strips and the amazing sauce!! But I will give them off day due to the Milton which they should be thriving to feed people at this time! My experience was so short of what I truly hoped for!! My 4 well 3& 1/2 strips were soggy I pulled into the parking lot and checked not too mention soggy on one side but not even entirely cooked I ended up having to use my air fryer to get things going I truly wanted to give them a chance but 12$ 4- piece meal soggy and unhappy but hey apparently if you dine in they hook you up with actual chicken strips cooked and not soggy Very disappointed I was rooting for the place!! Customer service was a A + in drive thru though
I will say that sauce is absolutely delicious 😋 Hands down it’s the best sauce I’ve ever had from any restaurant...
